Chapter 57; some months later

                                    

                                          
I yawn and sit up straight and look down to see I fell asleep at Lexi and Rye's house again, I've been helping with Lexi lots lately. Rye got a job so I've been here for a long time actually I fell asleep on the floor again, that can't be good for my health. I yawn and look up at six month pregnant Lexi, her attitude went from sweet to bitchy in a matter of two months; I'm hanging in there. 
"Wake up Lexi," I yawn, again she wakes up annoyed. "Ugh why can't I sleep right?!" She groans into the pillow I scoff and rub my eyes. "One word; Pregnancy," she shrugs and trues to sit up but reaches out for my grasp I lazily get up and help her up. "Where's Rye?" She asks,
"He came in last night around 11 he was tired so I told him to go to bed that I had you," she nods and smiles for the first time in months! "Let me hug the best caring big sister in the world!!" She says, crying here it goes again. I lean into a bone crushing hug this happens on occasions when I say something heart warming which I should really keep to myself if I want to survive the nest two months. 
                          
"Rye!!! C-cant b-bre-ath," I say wheezing she laughs and releases, and I dramatically fall to the floor, and groan catching my breath Rye walks in and hovers right above my face. "She did it again, didn't she?" I nod, placing my hand over my lungs then Andrew walks in and laughs when he sees me.  "Oh god! My beautiful girlfriend! Killed yet again; death by hug," I roll my eyes, and run over to him and give him a tight hug so he knows how it feels; and i applied the pressure he coughs and wheezes. 
                          
"I wove you so so do much!" I say in a baby tone, he pats my back and i release. "I wove you to Willow," He kisses me and Rye clears his throat. 
"Ahem, people are present," Rye says we pull away and I see Lexi smiling at us. "Ah, you guys are so cute! I ship it!" I laugh and turn to look at Mr. Odiar. "Mr. Odiar, do you ship it?" I ask, he laughs and kisses my head.
"I shipped it before anyone else did," he replied, ohhh speaking of, I forgot I have something to take care of today. "Listen, I have, um, business to take care of today so I'll be gone for a while, so Rye your on Baby duty," I say, he gives me a thumbs up I turn to Andrew. "See you later ok?" I ask waiting for him to respond then he leans down and whispers in my ear. "Don't be gone to long I have a special surprise for you later," I smile and nod. "Great, see ya later," I pull out of his arms and walk out.
                          
Today, I meet with my boss she wants to give me promotion, she likes what I write but the thing is I don't know what position I'll get, this is a very big deal to me I haven't told Andrew because I didn't want to get his hopes to high, because theirs bunches of people who could beat me at the position. I walk down the the Justice Building and ask to see my boss I walk to room three and there's my boss she's sweet and everything but she can be mean, I greet her with a smile and she does the same I sit down in front of her. "Good afternoon, Ms. Mellark how are you?" I nod continuing this smiling act. "Good, how about you?" I ask, there's not many moments when I'm polite but this is definitely one moment where my manners come out and damn they scare me. 
                          
"So I've been viewing your works on industry collum and I really love what you've done with it," I smile and nod. "Why thank you Ms. Quinton I try my best," I say she nods. "But, I don't feel like it suits you, Willow, you and I know that it isn't what's making you happy it's a boring topic; so that's why I'm giving you the promotion I want you to start writing about life, Ms. Mellark, I don't know a better person who could do this so what do you say?" She explains, my smile grows deeper I nod eagerly. "Oh god! Thank you! Yes! Thank you thank you thank you!" I shout, she laughs and hands me a folder. "Your welcome, I don't care what you write about your life his life dogs life whatever I want to see what you have to say," I nod and grab the folder I walk out and once I get out side of the building i squeal like a little girl. I can't believe I was exceptional enough for this job!
                          
I run to my moms house where dad mom Annie Johanna Finnick and Dale sits they immediately look at me like I erupted like a volcano.  "Willow I told you that you shouldn't run in here like that," Daddy scolds, I still smile because even though his scold reminds me of when I was 15. "I got the promotion!" I shout, Mom smiles whole heartily and everyone swarms me congratulating me. "I'm so proud of you honey!" Mom whispers in my ear, I want to cry I know I've said this before and ill say it again. I love to make mom proud. I could go into a fifteen minute rant about how much I love her and I'd do anything for her, hell, I almost killed Jax's dad--but honestly I wanted to-- when it comes down to life or death for loved ones......I would die for then--- all of these idiotic goofballs I couldn't and wouldn't let them do anything to change my mind.


                          
A/N: I loved this chapter even though it's really just a simple chapter like the others,⚠ spoiler alert⚠ there will be part 2, don't you wanna know Andrews surprise??? Is it a new job? Moving? Something else? Only part two can tell... *cue dramatic music*
