Chapter 38: Iceberg Trolls
*****Butch's POV
"How does he expect us to carry an iceberg?" I asked, out of the blue. We were currently flying over an ocean.
"We could just bring back a bag of ice and say they were all out of icebergs," Blake suggested. Buttercup nodded like she was actually considering it.
"I vote we just give Him a cold cappuccino," she said. I sighed.
"He's not going to accept anything we offer," I detested her theory, which she quickly debunked.
"Well... not you, but what about Brick?" I immediately stopped flying the second she said it. Blake and Buttercup also stopped with me.
I was speechless at her question, but I just knew it was wrong. I just didn't want to go through with it, even if it were possible. I feel like not going anywhere close to Brick. I just wanted to avoid him for a while, to be honest.
"We can't even get close to Brick," Blake answered for me. She shrugged.
"I'm not the brain-stormer here, go ask Blossom or Bash, or- wait, WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STUPID OCEAN!" She yelled, trying to take out her anger on us.
"Jeez, no need to yell, Buttercup, it's a good strategy, we just need a way to actually get to Brick. He seems to be by Him's side most of the time, so we should start by find Him," Blake explained. I nodded in agreement.
"Let's go back, we're wasting our time out here," I said. The three of us turned around began heading back to the city.
"No, but, seriously, the cold cappuccino thing- Genius! Right!?"Buttercup laughed to herself, expecting feedback. Blake cleared his throat and I continued on without saying anything.
"I mean, using Brick to get close to Him is a good idea, but I think he'll be able to tell the difference between hot and cold..." Blake admitted, earning a depressed sigh from Buttercup.
We were already nearing land. It wasn't too long ago since we left the country of Japan. Besides, we were going pretty fast, as well. Flying beats walking by miles. It would be another ten minutes until we got back to New Townsville.
