"You aren't going with out me!" Nico yelled at me, standing in my face.

"You aren't coming and that's final! I already chose who's coming!" I yelled back.

"And one of them is incapable at the moment! I should be going anyways!" He replied.

"My quest leaves in the morning and you will not be. And before you think you can be sly and follow me I'll know. I've already told Percy that if I do much as sense you while I'm away that he's going to wish he was still in Tarturas."

It was about a week after I got my prophecy and I was set to leave in the morning. I was supposed to be taking three campers in the morning but one (I think her name is Clarisse) had blisters all over her. I didn't want to risk anybody elses life so I decided to only bring the two that were already coming. One was one of the Stolls and I found their last name funny because there godly parent was Hermes the Lord of theives. The other was a child of Ares named Ethan. Clarisse insisted that I have two children of ares when I went to the underworld.

"The prophecy said that 4 people go. Why can't I go? Why won't you tell me anything else about the prophecy?" He asked. He asked me this every time I told him I wouldn't let him go. It absolutely killed me not to tell him.

"Nico, I can't let you go. I can't," I looked at him pleading for him not to question me further.

"No. That's not answer. Tell me why you won't let me go," He looked at me with a stern voice. I wanted to cry. We were best friends and I couldn't ignore him. We were basically twins. We already acted like we'd been born together as twins. "Lexi, tell me why. I'll understand."

"Gods you can be super annoying sometimes. Four shall go west to meet death.
Three shall return to their hearth.
Two bare the unspoken curse of the night
And one shall grieve without light. Somebody is supposed to die and I can't let it be you." I spoke quietly. "I've been doing research. We're the third line. In ancient times it was a bad thing to be heirs to hades. They would kill people that were accused because it was said that the would bring forth the night of chaos. Being the heir of Hades was called the curse of night."

"Okay Lexi. I understand," He sat down beside me.

I grabbed him and we sat there till we both feel asleep. I lifted my head to see the clock read 5am. I quickly and carefully pulled my self from Nico and got dressed. I hefted my duffel over my shoulder and strapped my weapon belt around my waist. I closed the door quietly and walked to the big house.

I heard the quiet talking in front of the big house. Chiron's bottom half was trotting in place nervously. Travis and Ethan both had duffels lying in the grass next to them. I walked quietly towards them. I felt Nico near me but I couldn't tell if it was because the Hades cabin was close or if he was actually here.

"Let's go see my father."

Argus drove us into the city and dropped us off.

"Well how are we getting to California? I don't think a cab will take us that far," Travis said behind me.

"I've got a friend that owes me a favor," I grinned. I did a three pitched whistle and waited a couple seconds. On the horizon three beautiful pegusi came trotting towards us. "I'm sure Percy has his own ride?" I walked to the pegusus in front. She was almost all black with a golden symbol of Nyx on her forehead. She had a shiny black mane that hung loose while he tail was braided neatly. "Hello darling. How are you doing?"

Better than ever babe. I've been dying to stretch my wings. Where to?

"California. Think you guys can get us there?"
