I woke up, and the first thing I did was pick up my phone. I quickly sat up, not even tired. I dialed Weston's number and let it ring.
"Hello?" Weston said in a raspy voice. "Weston come over." I said. "What the heck it's seven in the morning. Can I come later?" He asked. "Sure, just come whenever. Don't knock just come in." I said. "Okay. Goodnight." He said. I laughed and hung up.
Guess I'll have to wait. Wait what am I thinking? It's seven in the morning on the weekend. I'm missing out on sleep! I rolled back over in bed and closed my eyes. Then, I was fast asleep.
•••••
"Kinley." I opened my eyes and saw Weston sitting on my bed. I instantly sat up and he looked at me as if I was insane. I mean, I don't blame him.
"You're excited to see me." Weston laughed and sat next to me. "I gotta talk to you, but this stays one hundred percent between you and me. Promise?" I asked.
"Promise." He said, wrapping his pinky around mine. "So, yesterday after I got home, I went to Peyton's house to talk to him because we had a fight and I felt bad. But when I got there, he was kissing Alex." I explained.
"He was kissing his cousin?" Weston cringed. "No Idiot." I laughed. "He lied about that to cover up that he was cheating. Anyway, I went to Blake's and he told me some stuff." I said.
"Continue." Weston told me. "I went home last night and thought for like three hours, then I realized I like Blake." I said. Weston's eyes went big and he stood up. "Finally!" He shouted, throwing his hands up in the air excitedly.
"Huh?" I laughed. "I've been waiting for this moment for like, I don't know but it's been a long time!" He said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Blake's been in love with you for like two years!" Weston told me.
"How come I never knew?" I asked. "Because you're freaking blind! He made it so obvious all the time until you and Peyton started dating, then he kept it low key so Peyton wouldn't kill him." He told me.
"I can't believe I didn't know." I said to myself. "Yeah me too." Weston laughed. "What should I do?" I asked. "Tell Blake." He said. "So you don't care if we date?" I asked.
"Why would I?" He asked. "Because, wouldn't it be weird if your two best friends are a thing and you're just there third wheeling all the time?" I asked.
"No. Just no PDA in front of me and I'm cool with it. And as long as we all three hang out every weekend still, and it doesn't ruin our friendship." Weston said.
"I promise." I smiled. "Thanks Weston." I stood up and hugged him. "No problem, Kin." He said. I let go of him and he smiled at me.
"I'll see you tomorrow at school. It's the last week until summer." He smirked. "Bye Weston." I laughed. "Bye Kin!" He shouted as he was already out of my room.
Man, how come I never realized Blake liked me? I'm so stupid. All along I was looking for love, but it was right in front of me. It all makes sense now.
