Darren's POV
                          
   I hid my smile this whole day.I know it was V's birthday today. But, I got something planned for her. At school,Harry, Dania, Helen and I were pretending we didn't remember her special day.Even we rarely spend our times with her, made myself busy with our own works. As we arrived her house, I pulled out my phone and start texting someone. Once I got her reply,I tucked back my phone in my jeans. "See you tonight, okay?" I said to V, referring to her mom's invitation for dinner tonight. She nodded her head and gave me a weak smile. I know she was still upset about us forgetting her birthday, but I tried to ignore it even I wanted to sing Happy Birthday as loud as I can now. I grabbed her waist, lifting up her chin and smacked our lips together.She looked surprise by my action, and I kept my lips lingered on her. Her lips were damn tasty and sweet. I couldn't get enough of it. She pulled away, and I pouted. She giggled, smacking my shoulder slightly. I pecked her lips before waving her goodbye. I caught a shadow of a familiar women in her house, showing her thumb at me. I smiled and made my way to my house.Couldn't wait for tonight.
                          
Averyn's POV
                          
   I stepped into my house,shocked when I saw my mom already in the living room with unhappy emotion."H-H-Hi mom!I didn't expect you to be at home because I didn't see your car,"I said.She still in her work's clothes,looking at me while holding her iPhone."Of course.May I ask you something,Averyn Natalie Parker?"Oh,when my beloved mom called my full name,it's mean I did something that's not she fancy about.I nodded my head nervously,and she strode towards me,her phone showing an image.
                          
   "Can you explain this?"she shrieked in anger,showing me a photo of me and Darren kissing.I recognized the shirt and it was just now!Dammit!"The last time I check,you told me that the friendship of you and Darren didn't include cuddling,touching from your waist to down and kiss on lips.But what is this?"she asked.
                          
   "Mom,I'll explain this whole thing,"I cleared.She took a deep breathe,showing me her right palm to stop me from talking."We'll talk this tonight.I need both of you to explain.And.Never plan to do anything stupid,okay?Go upstairs,"she ordered.I obeyed her order and slumped my body on the bed.I know my mom.And I can guess what will happen once she knows our stupid plan.She'll never let anyone make fool of me,her only child.Especially by someone she trusts,Darren.Great.The best way to end my freaking birthday!

   The kitchen filled with tension even the smell of roasted chicken growled my stomach.I silently helped my mom making dinner,and she barely talk with me except when she need my help.I was setting up the table when I heard knocks.I glanced at my mom who was wiping the stove.I quickly open the door and saw Darren in his grey shirt and black jeans.
                          
   He leaned forward to kiss me but I stepped backward."Not the right time.Mom wants to dig the truth about our plan.I'm not sure if both of us will end up alive tonight,"I stated.He looked nervous too but to not make it so obvious that we were having a discussion,I lead him to the kitchen."Hi Brenda!"he greeted mom.Mom gave him a nod and a forced smile before inviting him to have a sit in the dining table.
                          
   We shared some random conversation while enjoying dinner which luckily my mom didn't touch about the photo she showed me earlier."I need to ask both of you something,"mom said.Oops,I said it too early.She pulled out her phone and I glanced at Darren nervously."This is the freaking time,"I mouthed.His eyebrows furrowed with confusion.She placed her phone on the table with her iPhone showing the same picture as before.
                          
   "You guys told me that both of you agreed that your friendship didn't involve kissing on lips.So,what's this all about?"she asked."First of all,we both sorry for all things that we'll explain later."Darren cleared."Not a good start,"mom commented while crossing her arms,leaning her back to the chair.I played with my fingers,eyes placed on the plate.I'll let Darren explain the whole thing and I'll add anything I think reasonable.
                          
   "Around a month ago,we started to swap our friendship into a relationship.Our friends suggested maybe we should discover each other true's feelings.I mean we've been friends for 2 years.It's not hard to give it a try.Don't worry.We've got 3 weeks to go,"Darren exclaimed.I looked at my mom from the corner of my eyes and told you,she didn't look like she was hearing some sweet story.Her lips formed into a thin line.
                          
   "And who do you think my daughter is?She wasn't someone that you can fool around with!I trusted you,Darren!I know that you can protect Ave as a friend.But what's now with turning what?Your friendship into a relationship?What the hell is that?I'm asking you now.If Ave really fall in love with you during those time,can you heal her broken heart if you didn't have the same feeling as her?Or worse,you guys can't be friends anymore.She's my only child and I don't want her continue her long life journey with broken heart.Because of what?Because of you and the stupid plan."
                          
   "Mom.Chill,okay?"I pleaded,trying to calm her down.She gave me death glare,before shifted her eyes to Darren."I'm giving a choice.Either both of you stop the whole plan,or end your friendship.Fullstop."she stated,placing her plate in sink before walking upstairs.I looked at Darren with tear welled in my eyes.I'm not sure why I'm being emotional with this whole conversation.Probably I love my friendship so much.Or the fact that I'm going to lose Darren.Damn,I love Darren so freaking much.I can't believe this happening on my birthday.
                          
   "Leave.Bring this home too,"my mom appeared in the kitchen with a big bag in her hand.She handed it to Darren and he was looking at me with frown but still accepting the bag.I'm not sure what the content is but I hope it's not something about our friendship."You do the dishes because I don't want to see a farewell kiss in front of my freaking house.Give me the decision tomorrow or I'll make it by myself.That's the lesson to not playing around with my daughter.Now go!"she ordered.
                          
   I gave Darren a hug,wiping my tears and started doing the dishes.Mom followed Daren outside and I heard some conversations between them.After few moments,mom took a sit on the dining table.She looked more relax than before but her frown made me nervous."Did you love him?As what?Be honest,"she stated.I turned off the tap and facing her.Took a good amount of oxygen,I made it clear and crystal.
                          
   "I love him.Really really really love him.As a friend.And as Darren William Handerson.I figured out that I felt in love with him few days after the plan started.He acted sweet,caring and lovely but in his naughty way.I know it sounds wrong for loving my bestfriend.Choices you gave us,neither of it on my own side.If we stop acting like a couple,I can't have his extra attention that made me feel loved.If you decided to end our friendship,my heart still broken from it.Mom,I really love Darren,"I cleared with sobs.She looked surprise by my explanation and then I thought of something.
                          
   "Mom,please don't tell him.I mean it.Please.It'll be get worse if he didn't love me too.Please.My heart shattered enough right now.Please mom.I beg you,"I pleaded.Mom looked at me with sorry.She nodded her head and kissed my forehead."Come in!"she shouted suddenly."I'll keep those words as secret,"she whispered with a grin.

2 POV in a chapter :) Anyway,I think either I'll end this story with 40   chapters or I'll make it longer for a chapter.I'll think about which one will I choose.So,as a Muslim,I want to wish Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri Maaf Zahir dan Batin.Sorry for all the mistakes I've made and wish you guys having a nice Eid!Malaysian will celebrate first Eid in 6th July 2016(Wednesday) and it is my 17th birthday.Sorry if the story lines getting weird or illogical but I told you,my imagination aren't sane.Love you guys and thanks for voting.
