"Hello, my name is Rebecca Miles. Its my first day." I say as i approach the front desk of TEI. (Terrez Educational Institute)
A woman about 40-50 years old looks up at me through her huge glasses. She doesnt say anything. I awkwardly lean back on my heels then stand on my tippy toes.
She grabs the phone and puts it to her ear.
"Kelly, tell Michael his intern is here." she says with a loud raspy voice.
"He'll be right with you." shes says and looks back at her computer screen.
"Thanks." I smile. Ignored.

I sit in the very unconfortable seats in the lobby of the huge building. Looking around to pass time.
"Ahh, Rebecca." a kind manly voice says.
I stand and look up at a middle aged man in a grey suit walking towards me.
"Mr. Terrez, good to finally be here." i say extending my hand.
He takes it in his and kisses the top of it. "Follow me Madam" he says walking away gracefully.
I quickly follow him to the elevator. The door was about to close then a arm stopped it.
A gorgeous man in a trench coat gets on the elevator.
"Oh, Hello Daniel." Mr. Terrez says calmly.
"Sir" his deep voice echoes trough the elevator as the door closes. We stand in silence as the elevator makes it way to the top floor.

4...
5...
I suddenly get the feeling someones looking at me. I look over at the man in the trench coat. No doubt, his eyes automatically connect with mine.
I lose my breath like i just got hit in the stomach. My eyes cant leave his. His face stays neutral. Not changing at all.
I open my mouth as if i was going to say something, but the elevator dings and the door opens. Bringing my attention back to reality.
I follow Mr. Terrez through the large room to the very back at his office.
I look back to see if the man was anywhere around. But he was gone.
"This is where you will be working." he pulls me from my thoughts opening a door to a small office.
I smile and look around.
"For now im going to have you enter these students into the database. And later this week you will start filing the file room." he smiles handing me a large stack of papers.
I set them on my desk and follow him to his office.
"Here is your login information for the computer. Everything should be set up already. Ive already emailed you a spread sheet, all you have to do is enter the students name, ID number and Date of birth" he says handing me more papers.
"Any questions?" He asks with a kind smile.
"I think I've got it." I say making my way to the door.
"Okay,that should keep you busy for today."
"Okay, thank you." i say walking out of the room back to my office.
My office was smallish, had a window facing the city. And there was a door next to it.
Curiosity got the best of me and I opened the door. Looking around. Its another small office. With a door going out to the hallway. I shut the door quickly, realizing that was someones office.
I walk out my office to look around the 12th floor. There was a small area by Mr. Terrez's office with donuts, cookies, coffee and other goodies. I grab a donut and a cup of coffee.
I put my donut and coffee in my office and go back to explore the floor. There is a woman sitting at a big desk right infront of the elevators.
"Hello darling. Im Kelly." she says with a huge smile.
"Hello.. Rebecca." I say shyly.
"Rebecca.. First day?"
"Yeah.. Hahaa"
"Hows it going so far" she folds her hands and puts them under her chin looking up at me.
"Alright. Hahaa Im just looking around right now. Learning the floor." i laugh.
"Well im here if you need me." she laughs to herself and goes back to her computer screen.
I walk back to my office and see someone unlocking the office door next to mine. It was the man from the elevator.
I walk quickly and turn into my office before we make eye contact again.
I sit down and log onto the computer. And immediately start working.

I look up at the clock as I enter the last student into the computer.
4:56pm
Whoa. Time passed quickly. I start to gather my things and walk out of my office, shutting the door behind me.
As Im walking towards the elevator i hear a door shut and footsteps behind me. I dont turn to look but i say goodnight to Kelly.
I go to press the button for the elevator and my hand touches a large soft hand. I pull my hand away quickly and look up to see the man from this morning.
"Sorry." i squeek and look down.
"You're alright." he says in a low voice.
The door opens and I look up at him. Expecting him to go first.
"Ladies first." He smiles at me.
I smile quickly and walk onto the elevator. The door closes and we are alone in this tiny moving box.
Silence.
The elevator reaches the bottom floor and the door opens. I look over at him again. He raises his arm towards the door and nods his head.
I walk out of the elevator and walk out the front doors or the building. I expected the man to follow shortly behind. But when I turned around nobody was there.
I shrugged it off and made my way to my small apartment.
Day 1, completed.
Note:
Holy hells.
I hope this story is successful.
