Chapter 34: Happy Jarrett
"Good morning, sweetheart." mom greeted with a smile as I made my way to the kitchen.
"Morning." I muttered.
"Guess what, I got you a little something." she said, grinning.
"What is it?" I said, thinking it was probably something lame like a shirt or whatever.
"Ta da!" she squealed as she showed me the iPhone in her hands.
"I-is that mine?!" I yelled, excitedly.
She nodded.
I immediately hugged her and said, "Thank you mommy!"
I pulled away and took the phone from her hands.
"Robin convinced me it was a great graduation gift." she said. "So she's basically the reason why you're holding a phone in your hands."
"She's something special, isn't she?" I said, smiling over my new cellphone and Robin.
"She sure is, honey." she agreed.
I certainly am a happy Jarrett right now.
