Okay... I have a confession to make... in one of my earlier author's notes... I said that the ending of this book would be totally cliché and... well...
I've kind of...
Forgot...
What I...
Want the ending to be...
I think I'll go... die in a ditch now or something and wing it...

Chapter 37: The End?

Boomer's POV

"You helped our dimension. It's only fair we help yours," Blake stated. No one argued. Buttercup wiped sweat off her forehead as she flew high into the air. Everyone else followed her lead.

In the middle of the city, and mountain that out-weighed all the others stood above the towers and skyscrapers. Lava was pouring out of it.

"What about the townspeople?!" Bubbles strayed from our group and began banging on windows of random buildings.

"We can only assume they've been evacuated! The Professor and Ken weren't in the lab when we got back!" Bash yelled to her. I flew towards Bubbles and grabbed her shoulders. There was just so much damage to everything. Not many buildings had toppled over yet from the extreme heat, but they will, all of them.

"Him is going to reduce the town to nothing but ash..." Blossom stared wide-eyed at the scene. We were all too shocked to really do anything.

"Where's Brick?!" Butch half-yelled. On cue, we looked at eachother, with a certain red-head missing.

"We have to find him!" I yelled. I grabbed Bubbles' hand and soared to the top of the largest volcano. Something is telling me that he's there.

"Brick?" We kept calling out. There was never a reply.

"We're wasting our time!" Butch yelled in frustration.

"Then what do you suggest we do?" Buttercup retorted. Butch made a 'tch' sound and crossed his arms. I guess he didn't have an answer.

"Hello, girls, it's been oh, so, long, hasn't it? Just, what? Two years?" A voice I never wanted to hear said.

Him hovered above the volcano with Brick at his side.

"Brick, you double-crossing bastard!" Butch cursed at him. Brick lowered his head.

"Butch, it's not his fault! He doesn't remember anything! He's lost and confused!" Blossom reprimanded him.

"Your beloved brother is with me now, see? He doesn't want to be with you. He wants to DESTROY YOU," Him cackled, placing one claw on his chest from laughing and the other on Brick's back.

"You ugly, cross-dressing, freak! You must have put one hell of a spell on him!" Butch looked like he was ready... to throw a boat at someone(DOES ANYONE HERE GET MY REFERENCE).

"What go we do?" I asked. How do we even begin to defeat a demon?

"He hates cold things, right?" Buttercup suggested. Blossom nodded.

"Well, last time we used an iceberg, didn't we? There aren't anymore around here..." Bubbles trailed off.

"Then let's go get an iceberg," Butch said.

"I swear, sometimes you are stupider than Boomer,"

"Hey!" I said defensively.

"No, he's right," Blossom agreed. Everyone then stared at Blossom

"Where the hell are we going to get an iceberg?" Blake asked her.

"Blake's team, keep heading South for about an hour at top speed. Grab the biggest one you find," Bash ordered. Even Butch had a confused look on his face.

"I was joking," he admitted.

"And I'm not. Go get a damned iceberg," he told Butch, "Now, now! We'll hold Him off for as long as we can, but we need that iceberg!"

Buttercup, Blake, and Butch didn't move an inch.

"Bash," Blossom called out.

"What?"

"It's Buttercup's group,"

"Butch's group" I said.

"IT'S THE CHRISTMAS THEMED GROUP, NOW GET ME AN ICEBERG!" He yelled and began shoving them in the direction he wanted them to go.

They flew off, slow at first, but gradually picked up speed.

"What are we going to do with an iceberg?" Breaker asked.

Bash sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"I have no idea," he confessed. Blossom stared blankly at him.

"You just sent our strongest fighters to retrieve an item on a trip over two hours and you don't even know what you're going to do with it?!" She nearly screeched, "How are we supposed to fight Him, and possible Brick, for two hours?"

"Well, we can start by finding them," I suggested. Everyone turned to me.

"What do you mean?" Bubbles asked. I pointed to the volcano they were once hovering above.

"They're gone,"

***** (Time skip brought to you by Elsa, because everyone wishes she was here to run away from New Townsville and freeze everything to kill Him so the Puffs and Ruffs can be together forever and do the smoochysmoochy and make smol childs)

"Brick?!" We were once again calling out, but this time we didn't have Butch to tell us it was useless.

"Where could he be?" Blossom sighed, nearly defeated.

"Boomer, you're an idiot!" Bash said. I shrugged.

"Did you watch them leave?"

"No, I watched them disappear,"

"You..." Bash was ready to bang his head against a wall.

Wait...

More like, he was ready to bash his head against a wall.

Haha, I'm a genius.

"No, but really, what are we going to do with an iceberg?" Breaker restated.

"We can squash him like a bug," I said and made a bug-squishing gesture with my hands and a crunching noise.

"I'm up for that plan," Bash shrugged.

"It's a great idea, Boomer," Bubbles praised me. I blushed. I wasn't really expecting positive feedback.

"I guess it couldn't hurt," Blossom agreed. Breaker, too, shrugged.

"But we only have one iceberg," Bash broke the badnews, "What if it doesn't work?" Everyone became silent.

"Oh, would you look at that," Him called out. We all turned around. There was no Brick with him. We didn't realize it since we were in the air, but the ground began shaking. It was like an earthquake.

"No..." Bubbles said quietly. We looked in the same direction she was staring at.

It's going to erupt.

"Stop, please! What do you want from us?" Bubbles screamed. At her voice, the rumbling stopped.

Him looked please with himself.

"Let's wait for the other three to come back, now, alright? It's not a party unless you're all there," he said. We froze. At the same time, he disappeared.

"We're going to lose this fight, aren't we?" Bubbles' voice was shaky. Tears threatened her eyes. I wanted to argue with her, I wanted to tell her that everything was going to be okay.

But to be honest, I think everyone agreed with her.

This might be our last fight.
