~1 Year Later~
Ages:
Haleigh: 18 years old"I must say Haleigh, you've been an amazing student and it hurts to see you leave." Lady Mei says as she stands by me in front of the gates. I nod at her and turn around. My training is now complete and I'm going to look for the Akatsuki.
"Wait! Haleigh, be very careful. You never know what danger lurks out there." The Mizukage says as she waves goodbye. I nod at her and walk off once more. Since I didn't need anymore training, I decided to stay away from villages and stay in the forest for a while.
~About 6 Months Later~
I was now a woman. Completely fearless of anything and everything. I still didn't talk, and I still haven't shown any emotion, but all of that will change soon enough. After I complete my second goal, I will move to my first. Backwards yes, but they are both equal in importance.
1: Kill the man who murdered the people I cared for.
2: Get Deidara back and kill the Akatsuki for taking him from me.
It was now evening, the temperature dropping to a lovely chill. The sun was just setting so it was still daylight, but I decided to set up camp anyhow. I had pitched a tent and was currently making a fire.
After the fire was started, I found a large log and used it as a seat instead of sitting on the ground. I pulled some tea leaves out of my bag and began to boil them.
My senses went on high alert when I felt two chakra signatures not too far from my campsite, and moving closer. I remained to appear oblivious as our proximity became closer and closer. From what I could tell, both were very powerful. One using water jutsus and the other using fire, and genjutsu. One of them. Uchiha.
I put my tea in a cup and began to sip the liquid as the two people were now right behind me. I sigh as I do a hand sign and summon Koku.
"Hello master." Koku chirps merrily. I nod at him.
'I need your voice for a little while.' He nods back at me and hops onto my shoulder. I sigh, set my cup onto the ground, get up slowly, and turn around to face the greenery behind me.
"You can come out now. I've felt your presence for about fifteen minutes." I say as my eyes flicker back and forth. Just then, two bodies emerge from the bushes. One drastically taller than the other, but the one thing that stands out the most is their black cloaks with the red clouds.
"Huh. She is good, huh Itachi." The taller man says. I tense as I look at the pair.
"The Akatsuki, huh. I've been looking for you fuckers." The blue man looks shocked for a moment but lets it disappear as a smirk crosses his face.
"That's funny because we've been looking for you as well, kid. Looks like you've been getting around, training with everyone, even Orochimaru." He says. I shrug slightly and continue to stare at them. I look at the shorter man and tense. I'd never seen these two before, but I know who this guy is.
"Sasuke looks just like you, you know that Itachi?" I tell him. His eyes widen just slightly before going completely blank again. Just then, the blue man pulled his large sword off of his back and charged at me. Mistake number one.
"What, I don't get any recognition?" He says as he continues running at me. I remain completely still as I activate my Dāku.
'Ah, so he's one of the Seven Swordsman.' I think to myself before catching his eye. Mistake number two.
"Fear." I say. The man stops dead in his tracks and stares back at me. I intensify it slightly, and that's all I needed. He dropped his sword to the ground. He began screaming to the top of his lungs and was clutching his head in immense pain, just like they all do.
"You know. For one of the Seven Swordsman of the Mist, I'd expected more of a fight, especially with that chakra sucking sword you've got. I hope you can do better, Uchiha." I say as I walk over to him. I'd never tried to do two people at once, but it was worth a shot.
"Mangekyou sharingan." He says. I flinch at the sight of those eyes I hate so much. He smirks at what he thinks is fear. I smirk right back at him.
"No we're getting somewhere." I say as I look him directly in the eyes. After a second, he looks at me completely in shock.
"Feel scared yet?" I ask as I use his shock to my advantage. I run up to him and grab his face, forcing him to look into my eyes.
"Fear." I whisper. Instead of using something as being killed or tortured I decided to make him pay a little. I send him into a scene where his dead family gets revenge upon him, ripping him apart slowly. I release his face, and just as I thought, he falls to the ground with cries of pain coming from him. After a minute or so of exhausting their minds, I release them. They both begin panting frantically. I crouch down to Itachi and grab the collar of his cloak.
"Be glad I pity Sasuke. Otherwise, you'd be dead right now." I tell him before letting him go to fall back against the floor.
