~ 1 Year Later ~

Haleigh: 16 years old"Do it again." Sasuke says sternly. I glare up at him, but preform the hand signs anyway. He was teaching me the classic fireball justsu, and even though mine had matched his in size, he said they could be bigger. Suigetsu, Jugo, and Karin were watching on the side waiting for me to finish with Sasuke so the next person could teach me what I wanted to learn.
'Fire style Fireball jutsu!' I say in my head before gathering as much chakra as I could in my mouth without my cheeks completely exploding. In one large, hefty puff, a gigantic wall of fire erupts from my mouth, spreading about ten feet wider than it did the time before. My chest hurt, my lungs were on fire, the corners of my mouth were singed, but I felt rather victorious.
"Okay. You've got that down. Anything else you want to learn?" He asks. Since I joined team Hebi, well really since I joined Orochimaru, I've been using people to absorb as much knowledge as I can from them. I begin to think of all of the things Sasuke had taught me, all of it being fire techniques, when a sudden idea sprung into my head. I pull out the black notepad from my pocket and begin to write.
'Could you teach me to become immune to genjutsu? Is that even possible?' I finish writing and hand Sasuke the paper. He reads it over quickly before looking back at me.
"Yes it is possible, and yes I will teach you. You might be able to use your kekki genkai to escape so we will try that. First, I have to trap you in a genjutsu, and then you have to try to overpower it using your Dāku. Look into my eyes." Sasuke says. I nod in understanding and walk a few steps closer to him and activate my Dāku before looking into his sharingan.
I continue to wait for a few moments, but nothing happens. I summon Koku quickly to ask him about what's happening.
"Are you even trying?" I ask through Koku, his voice sounding irritated and teasing at the same time. Sasuke looks at me, completely shocked and astonished. He looks as if he is studying my eyes for a few moments before grabbing my face and pulling it closer to his. He stares into my eyes as I give him an unamused look.
"Well hell. You won't need to learn how to get out of a genjutsu if you've got your Dāku activated. You are automatically immune. That's one hell of a kekki genkai you've got." Sasuke says and he walks off. When I turn around to the rest of the team, their jaws are practically hanging to the floor, all except Jugo, but his face still shows that of shock.
"Well, would you looky here Sasuke. Finally found someone you can't beat. I bet she'll be the death of you one day." Suigetsu says. I then point at Karin and motion for her to come forward with my finger. She rolls her eyes and pushes off of the tree she had been leaning against to walk over to me, making sure to take her sweet time to do so.
"I want you to teach me how to sense chakra, even the faintest of signatures, and that's it because that's all you're really good for other than Fangirling." Koku's voice comes out monotonous to match my face.
"Listen here you dumb frea-" Karin is cut off by my hand on her throat.
"What was that bitch, I couldn't quite hear you. Darkness got your tongue?" I say and smirk evilly before dropping her on the ground. She grasps at her own throat and sucks in as much air as she can while Suigetsu laughs his ass off and Sasuke and Jugo have smirks plastered on their faces.
"Now. Get up and teach me, or suffer." I sneer. She immediately got up with fear evident on her face and approached me cautiously.
"All you have to do is balance your chakra to all of your senses and it will come. The more chakra you use, the smaller you can trace." She says and begins to walk away. Since we were out in a field, not too far off from some random village, I decided to give it a shot.
I closed my eyes for better concentration and let my chakra flow to all of my main points, attempting to feel if anyone was near us. After adding a bit more force, I could feel two signatures a couple of miles away from us.
After I retracted my senses, I nodded at Karin and she walked off to join the others. Next I got Suigetsu to help me with water jutsu, since it was my favorite beside ice. He taught me the water prison, the shark missel, and finally the water dragon bullets.
After I had successfully completed each of the three new water jutsus, I asked Jugo to work with Koku and train him, since he loves animals. Jugo had been fond of him the moment he laid his eyes on my Koku, which ultimately brought him closer to me.
As Koku and Jugo trained, I sat back with the other four and watched, but soon my mind began to drift to the future and questions began to make their way into my head.
'Am I strong enough yet?'
'How will I even find him?'
'Should I continue training with the best I can find?'
'Where will I go?'
After a while of just thinking to myself and playing through different scenarios in my head, I'd figured out what I wanted to do. I nudged Sasuke in the side and jerked my head in a random direction signaling that I wanted him to follow me.
I got up and he followed at my request. Once we were a good distance from the rest of the group, I pulled out my black notepad.
'Well, here goes nothing.'
