Jungkook sat silently in the waiting room.
                          
Jimin's not telling him something.
                          
Something important.
                          
Jungkook ran his hand through his hair and checked his phone.
                          
6:30 am
                          
'Jimin...'
                          
The doctor came out from Jimin's room and shook his head. Jungkook stood up so quickly he got light-headed, he took a few steps towards the doctor. 
                          
"Doctor? What is happening to him?" The doctor seemed confused, he tilted his head and looked through Jimin's files once more. 
                          
"Has your friend not told you yet?" Jungkook's mind raced.
                          
Told him what?
                          
The doctor sighed as if he was sorry for him.
                          
"He has...cancer... and it has already mutated." Jungkook stood there.
                          
"There's no...cure." 
                          
His face blanked.
                          
What?
                          
A breath hitched in his throat.
                          
He felt as if the blood within him stopped circulating for a second as the blunt truth smacked him in his face like a brick. 
                          
"There must be a mistake doctor..." Jungkook pleaded as the doctor shook his head.

                          
"I'm sorry..." He then left Jungkook alone in the hallway.
                          
Jimin is going to...die?
                          
His phone suddenly buzzed in his pocket.
                          
It was Namjoon.
                          
"Hello?" Jungkook answered with as much energy as he could.
                          
"Jungkook where are you? And Jimin?" Jungkook looked at the ground with his bewildered eyes.
                          
"We...were just looking at shooting stars this morning, we'll be back shortly."
                          
Why is he lying?
                          
"Oh, okay then, come back quick okay? And be safe." He nodded as he heard Taehyung in the background crying out.
                          
"Eh? Jimin hyung didn't tell me about shooting stars!"
                          
Jungkook later entered Jimin's room after permission was given.
                          
Jungkook swallowed hard as his eyes laid upon Jimin. 
                          
His once rosy cheeks were pale, his plump lips were now grey and his brows were furrowed together as if he was in pain, even in his sleep. 
                          
"Jimin..." Jungkook rushed to him as Jimin fluttered his eyes open.
                          
"Kookie..." Jimin smiled.
                          
Why was he smiling?
                          
Why?
                          
"Jimin...why..." Jimin looked the other way.
                          
"I never wanted to worry you guys." Jungkook took a step forward.
                          
"Why didn't you tell us earlier?" He felt tears in his eyes. 
                          
Why did he feel like crying?
                          
Jimin gritted his teeth.
                          
"Jimin, we could've helped you with everything..." He went on. 
                          
Jimin suddenly slammed his fist onto the hospital bed.
