**So I thought it's been a little while since we had a chapter that focused just on our two favourite lovebirds! Hope you like it and sorry it's been a while since the last update!**
"Well, since we're having one of each, why don't you name the boy and I'll name the girl?" Scorpius suggested one Sunday afternoon in October as he and Rose were walking hand in hand along the beach front.
"Okay, but neither of us can know the name the other has chosen until they're born," Rose replied.
"Ooh Rosie Malfoy raising the stakes a little! Deal. You just wait, I'm going to choose the best girls name. You won't even know what hit you. You'll just know it's perfect,"
Rose gave a laugh, "I'm sure it will be,"
They walked a little further and stopped to look out at the horizon. Rose took the bouquet of flowers in her hand and gently released them into the waves. They both stayed silent for a moment, listening to the sound of the sea; the water slowly crawling up and down the sand.
"So do you know how little Harry's getting on, then?" Scorpius asked.
"Pretty well, I've heard. And I think the Dursleys are adjusting too," Rose laughed, "Liza's in Peru at the moment, Ivy's at uni, Joe and Alex at school. Life goes on!"
Suddenly, an owl landed on Scorpius' arm, a scroll attached to its leg. He pulled the parchment off, the bird quickly taking flight soon after.
"What is it?" Rose asked.
"An invitation," he replied, scanning the paper quickly, "to James' wedding."
"Ah, when is it?" She asked excitedly.
"First of November, we're free aren't we?"
"Even if we're not, I'm still going," Rose replied with a small laugh, taking the paper from her husband. "They're having it at yours! At the Manor, I mean. How did you not know anything about this?"
"Rosie, in case you haven't noticed, I live with you. Have done for the past few years. How am I supposed to know what happens in a place I don't live in? Tell me, Rose, what colour tablecloth is on the table at your parents house right now? Now, come on, you should know this."
"Okay, point taken," she replied grumpily, looking at the smirk on his face.
"It's not far off, is it?" He stated.
"No, we'll have to dust off your suit," she said with a wink.
He smiled and leant down to kiss her gently.
"What was that for?" She asked afterward with a grin.
"I can't kiss my wife for no reason?" he said to which she raised her eyebrows questioningly, "It's a thank you, for being perfect,"
She laughed and shook her head slightly, "I'm not perfect," she said as she tucked a stray curl behind her ear, which the wind immediately undid.
"Nah, I 'spose you're not. You're loud, bossy, egotistical, patronising..."
"Oi! I preferred it when you were calling me perfect," she laughed, moving to playfully shove him. He caught her hand before it touched him and kissed her again, tucking her hair behind her ear once more.
"I am so in love with you, Rose Malfoy," he said as they broke apart.
"Yeah, you're alright too," she replied with a grin.
"Fighting sarcasm with sarcasm, I see,"
"I love you too," she conceded.
