1:15AM

~Kai's POV~

I feel a nudge at my side and I half asleep, look over with my eyes half open.

Lloyd: "Krystals awake. And its your turn."

Kai: "But she was just fed an hour a ago, she only needs every 4."

Lloyd: "Just go before she wakes everyone up."

Kai: "Uugh, fine."

I threw the covers off of me and walked to the twins room. I opened the door and saw Krystal crying. She was laying on her back with her face turned to the right. I went over and picked her up and she started to reach out to my right side. I looked over there and saw Luke's crib, but he was moving odd. I put Krystal down in her crib and she stopped crying.

Thats odd too.

I turned on the light for the room and went back over to Luke's crib. The sight of him scared the shit out of me. I picked him up out of his crib and held him the best I could in my arms.

Kai: "LLOYD!!"

I screamed at the top of my lungs and I hear thumping down the hall and Lloyd appears in the doorway.

Lloyd: "What?"

I looked back down at Luke and start to tear up. Lloyd walked over and looked at Luke shaking in my arms, put his hand over his mouth and turned around to check on Krystal.

I then heard another voice from the doorway.

Cole: "Whats going on? Its 1 in the morning."

I looked up at him and could barley speak.

Kai: "I-I dont know."

Cole saw Luke and perked up.

Cole: "We have to take him to the hospital. Lloyd get a bag together for him. Kai I need you to hold his head so he doesnt get any brain damage."

Lloyd did as he said and Cole came over and helped me get a coat on and thats when Krystal started to cry again. Lloyd threw some of her cloths in the bag then picked her up and followed me and Cole to the living room.

I looked around the living room and saw Nya asleep on the couch and Jay asleep at the computer. Lloyd put Krystal in her carrier and she continued to cry. Jay was startled awake and fell out of the desk chair and that woke Nya. When they both heard Krystal crying they perked up to and came over.

~Lloyd's POV~

Kai is holding Luke and I looked up at him after I put Krystal in her carrier. I went over and kissed his cheek and whiped the tears that were falling down his cheeks away.

Then me, Kai, Luke, Krystal and Cole got in Cole's car and Nya and Jay in Jay's car. Then we were off to the hospital.

~Time Skip because Im lazy and depressed rn~

~Cole's POV~

Well, we havent found out what was wrong with Luke, and Lloyd is the emotional one now. And Kai? Well, lets just say he is EXTREMELY distant right now. He just sits by the window and stairs out it and talks to no one. Not even Lloyd.

It has been 3 hours now, and the doctor still hasnt-

"Luke Smith's Parents."

Kai was in front of the doctor before he said Luke's last name. Lloyd joined vary shortly after.

I stood and walked up behind the two, just to see whats going on. I dont hear much.

But what i do hear consists of "seizure", "brain development", "Im sorry", "Gone"

~Kai's POV~

I feel nothing now. Just numb.

I left my coat, phone, and keys with Lloyd and I just left.

I walked out the hospital doors and just walked and walked and walked and walked. Now I didnt know where I was, nor did I care.

The doctor said that Luke had a seizure and that was because of lack of brain development when he was growing in Lloyd's tummy. But it was enough for it to get by the check-up that Luke got when he was born. They said if he was brought in sooner, he could have had treatment done on him.

He was my first son. He was the one I could watch him grow up with his sister. His sister. Oh, she cant know. She wont know. She cant know that just let her brother die. She was the one that got our attention.

Oh no. This was all my fault. If I would have let Lloyd bring him to the doctor...then he wouldnt be....oh my god, it is my fault.

Ha-ha, Yes, it is.

No, not you again.

Oh Yes, Me again.

No, go away.

Why? You already messed up.

Because Im not gonna let you control me again.

OH. Silly boy.

I already have.
