Luke took my hand and we walked into the den. I was nervous, and my cheeks couldn't stop blushing bright red. I was excited though at the same time, I was hanging out with Luke, the guy I was slowly crushing on and I was just in shock that this boy liked me. But, it was too soon to tell...

I sat down on the luvseat and he sat in the recliner, and looked at me with a smile plastered on his face. I looked away, giggling and he laughed too. "What are you laughing at?" He asked as he kept looking at me.

I shook my head and kept my eyes down at the floor. "Nothing! You just got a funny face!" I said, giggling again and couldn't contain it.

Luke patted his cheeks and laughed. "I can make more funny faces!" He made another funny face, causing me to laugh again. He was killing me, he's so funny and I couldn't control my laughing. 

Once we stopped laughing, Luke stood up and grabbed his camera. "Wanna help me make a video?" He asked with a cheeky grin on his face.

I nodded fast and smiled. "Sure! What's the topic and what channel?" I had seen a lot of his videos on YouTube on their blog channel and saw he did little advice videos. 

"It's gonna be like relationship advice. I do advice videos and this is a really requested one.." He smiled and put the camera on the tripod, waving me over. I walked over by him and he started the camera. "Hey guys, it's Luke and I am gonna finally do one of those advice videos you've been begging for. My special guest is my bestie, Andrea." I smiled and waved at the camera. "The topic today is relationships, like all that lovey dovey shit, so lets get on with the questions! Andrea, hand me my phone?" I nodded and grabbed his phone.

"Okay, first question, have I ever been in a relationship or currently am one?" He looked at his phone then at the camera, shaking his head. "I was in one before I dropped out of school and then she hated me because she thought I was stupid. Which means I am single! Ladies, watch out." He winked at the camera and laughed. 

I looked at him, astounded. "You, Luke Brooks are single!?" I asked really surprised. He nodded and shrugged. 

"Yeah, I am waiting for the right girl I guess. She's still out there, hopefully close to me, you know?" I nodded, and his words caused my stomach to sink again and I blushed a little. Hiding my blush, I stood behind Luke and laughed.

"Next question, Lukeyyyy." I sang to him, laughing. He nodded and smiled, fiddling with his lip ring. 

"When was my first kiss and will I kiss someone?" He widened his eyes and I looked at him, shuffling to the side of him. "Erm, my first kiss was when I was about thirteen with this girl behind the park bench. Then will I kiss someone? Yeah, Drea come here.." I looked at him, shocked. Luke was gonna kiss me! I took a deep breath and nodded as I creeped towards him and he pulled me close, pressing his soft lips against mine. I felt his arm snake around my waist and he pulled away a couple seconds later. I blushed a deep red and as he pulled away, I backed up slightly.

"Oh my gosh.." I said quietly, and Luke stopped the camera. 

"I..uh..Uhm..I had to, I, uh, will be right back." He ran upstairs and I was left down there by myself. We had just met yesterday and he already kissed me. It probably meant nothing! Luke is a great guy but nothing can happen yet. I am not ready for someone else to be liking me and asking me out.

Twenty minutes passed and I found myself sitting on the couch, looking frequently at the staircase until I heard footsteps coming down. I took a deep breath, and looked as I saw Luke. He walked slowly back to me and sat down next to me. 

"I am sorry, if I did that and I hurt you or something. It was sudden, I apologize." He said, stuttering a little. I nodded and put my hand on his arm.

"It's okay, Luke." I said, nodding. 

"I just..uh, well..when I met you yesterday, I thought you were beautiful and I had wanted to do that, that's why I wanted to do the video with you, I got everything yesterday for the video but I wanted to put it off until I had the chance to hangout with you again." He said, looking down at his feet. 

I sat there, silent. I wanted to tell him what happened with me and Noah, now that he admitted to liking me yesterday.

"Luke, you're a great guy.. I can admit that. But I don't know if I am ready to like another guy yet. It's just...I just got out of a horrible relationship with a horrible guy. He was nothing but a dick to me and.." I started crying as the repeat of Thursday played through my head again. "I-I was hit by him and he cheated on me, but I-I took h-him back b-being the person I am...he embarrassed me in front of strangers on Thursday and I am so hurt by him, Luke...it's so hard to be able to love another guy after that." After that, I felt Luke wrap his arms around me tightly. I sat there and then snaked my arms around his waist, and cried onto his shoulder.

"I am so so so so sorry that happened to you, Drea. He's a complete dick for doing that to you and you should never have to go through that. If you ever need anyone to talk to, I will be there for you." He planted a soft kiss on my forehead and I smiled a little. There was something about Luke that made me feel safe. Maybe it was having his arms around me, but I needed someone like him again in my life..
