I was on my way to Melbourne once again. It had been five years since I had seen my dad, so I didn't know if he changed or not. Feeling nervous, I knew there would be huge adjustments about this. I would be starting a new school, finishing off my senior year at Penola. I knew absolutely no one and I could tell this was going to be horrific.

Upon arriving to Melbourne, I felt the nerves really starting to kick in and I felt myself have a sudden shake to my body. I didn't know what to expect with my dad or anything going on in this situation. I left everything behind to be away from Noah, and the troubles that were leaving me hurt in New York. It would be a new thing, and I did not like change.

When I got to the airport, I looked around for someone that I would recognize. When I saw my cousin, Landon, my face instantly lit up. He was one of my best friends and I was so excited to see him. I dropped my suitcases and ran towards Landon, jumping into his arms. He swung me around in circles, smiling, causing me to giggle.

"Landon!" I exclaimed, smiling and jumped out of his arms. "I didn't know you were coming to get me!"

Landon smiled and nodded. "Yeah, your dad's at work right now, so he asked me if I could come and get ya." He said in his thick Australian, which was good on him. Landon was a built surfer guy, which was kinda typical for him. Always loving the beach, he did the swim team and he did also qualify for the Olympics..

"I'm so excited to be home again!" I said with a smile and grabbed my bags as Landon took them from me.

"Everyone missed you! Hannah's super excited to see you, since you haven't been home in five years!" Landon stated, as we both started to walk towards the entrance of the airport. We talked about what we had been up to for the past five years, and I had mentioned that me and Noah broke up and Landon was hurt too by his past relationship.

"Trust me, Andi..Remember how I told you I was dating Gianna? Well she cheated on me with my best friend, Brandon and I never forgave him for that or her. So I've been single, but there's this girl I reallllly like now." Landon said with a positive attitude. There was something about him that I truly despised. He was just looking towards the positives, and I couldn't do that yet..

We got to my dad's house, and it was the same house I remember my mom would show me in pictures. I smiled and looked around when I got out. "Wow..." I said as I walked up the front porch steps.

"Bringing back memories, eh?" Landon asked as he chuckled quietly.

I nodded and opened the front door. "I don't remember much of it, but from pictures, it seemed like the place to be." I smiled and set my suitcases down on the couch. On the walls, were pictures of me from the past eighteen years, made into a huge collage. Looking at all of them, brought tears to my eyes. My dad truly did care about us still, and he missed us.

"Wanna see your bedroom?" Landon asked me, as I looked over at him and nodded quickly. We walked up the stairs and walked all the way down to the end of the hallway, seeing my room with my name on the door.

"I remember last time my mom let me come here, that sign was still here." I opened the door and saw my bedroom had been redone. The walls were painted teal, and there were yellow Christmas lights lining my ceiling. Posters covered some spots, and there were pictures that I had brought from New York of me and my friends and those made me smile.

Landon nodded and looked around. "You gonna be fine by yourself? I gotta go to diving practice, but if you wanna hang out later, I can take you to Penola and we can tour the school, alright?" I turned around and hugged him, nodding.

"Thank you for picking me up and taking me home, Landon. Text me after your practice, you little pro." I laughed and hit his arm lightly as he smiled and walked out of my room, closing the door behind him. I sat on my bed, smoothing out the blanket and smiled, looking around. Being back in Melbourne, actually felt good. As I looked down at my phone, I saw all the snapchats and texts from my friends, making me frown a little and miss New York again. I hadn't called my mom yet, but I wanted to have some time to myself before I called anyone.

I ran back downstairs and grabbed my bags, bringing them up to my room and sorted all my clothes out on my bed and all my other things. After about two hours of decorating and putting everything in its place, I laid down on my bed and took a deep breath, checking my messages and turned on my TV. I watched TV until eventually falling asleep.

An hour later, I was woken up by someone yelling my name. I instantly sat up and rubbed my eyes, trying to process who the voice was. I was guessing that it was my dad. Slowly, I got up and walked downstairs to see my dad, sitting on the couch in the living room and that brought a smile to my face.

"What, do you think you're gonna come into my house, without saying hi to me or giving me a hug?" He stood up, walking towards me and hugged me tight. "I missed you, Andrea Grace!" He said as I hugged him back, smiling.

"I missed you too, dad. I really did, and it feels great to be home. My room looks awesome!" I said as I pulled away from the hug and smiled up at him.

"Well I'm glad you're home with me now. I'm sorry to hear what happened with you and your boyfriend. He's a jerk, don't you ever be talking with him again."

"Oh, I won't be dad.. I promise you." I nodded and looked down at my nails.

"Are you hungry? I can order some food? Or do you wanna just sleep since it is pretty late and your first day of school is tomorrow!" He smiled and sat down on the couch, looking at me.

"I think I'm just gonna go to bed, I'm exhausted and jet lag is kicking my butt." I kissed him on the cheek and turned around. "See you in the morning."

"I won't be here tomorrow, I leave for work at like 4 in the morning. You have to be up by 7:30, Landon will be here at 8 for you..Have fun tomorrow, alright? Meet loads of new people, Drea." I nodded and walked upstairs to my room, closing the door behind me.

I changed into some baggy sweatpants which belonged to Noah, and my soccer practice shirt, throwing my hair up in a messy bun. I grabbed my laptop and laid on my stomach, checking my twitter. All the celebs I followed were tweeting, and my friends were tweeting. Nothing to me, so I shut my computer and set my computer on my desk before getting under the covers and texting my mom good night. Within minutes I was asleep and preparing myself for my first day at Penola..
