There was one day when Hyungwon was home, feeling particularly down. He had had a long, tiring day at school, being picked on by his old friends and other people in his class. After that his parents, who he would've liked to see, weren't home.

They lived in a big, mansion-like house, but it was usually empty. Hyungwon's parents were busy at work so he was alone.

He really wanted to make himself feel better and forget about the things that were bringing him down. So he sent a message to Hoseok, asking if he was available.

It made him really anxious and he kept his finger on top of the 'send'  button for long, wondering whether to send the message or not. He didn't want to bother Hoseok and was afraid that if he annoyed him, he wouldn't want to hang out with Hyungwon anymore.

After finally sending the message, he threw his phone far away and started walking around the house, trying to forget that he even sent it so it wouldn't be so bad when he would get no answer.

He didn't forget it though and ran back to his room five minutes later to see if Hoseok had answered.

He hadn't.

Hyungwon tried to distract himself by doing homework but his eyes kept wandering to his phone and he checked it Hoseok had seen it every two minutes.

He made food but couldn't even eat because he was so stressed.

What if Hoseok had really gotten tired of him? What if he had done something dumb the last time? What if Hoseok had another, better customers?

He had already started thinking about how he would answer when Hoseok answered to him, but after two hours, there was still nothing.

Hyungwon had never felt so anguished. It was already getting so late that even if Hoseok would answer, it would be pointless.

The first message was still received but not read when Hyungwon sent another message, apologizing Hoseok for bothering him.

After that he went to sleep - or at least tried to. His head was filled with thoughts and anxiety so it took him hours before he could fall asleep. On top of all that, the neighbors had a party going on and the bass was loud enough to make his walls shake.

--

Meanwhile he was at it, Hoseok was in that other house, partying with big group of girls.

One of the girls had rented him for the whole night to keep company for all of them and make their party better.

He had been doubtful when the girl had told him to take his shirt off but after he was offered a lot of money, his mind had changed completely.

In reality, Hoseok partied and drank a lot. He was still underage but he had went to clubs for almost two years already. Usually he was good with handling his alcohol but got carried away sometimes which was a problem because when that happened, he wasn't doing things for money anymore - he did them because he was drunk.

The girls were clearly rich. They had a fancy house and a Jacuzzi outside. The best part of it was that he alcohol wasn't just the usual cheap shit you get in high schoolers parties, it was the expensive kind you couldn't get from ordinary liquor stores.

An hour into the night, Hoseok was already more drunk than any of the girls. They had been literally pouring liquor down his throat.

He danced for them like a male stripper.

The girls cheered and gave him even more money when he took his jeans off.

They all went to the Jacuzzi together and drank some champagne.

Hoseok was getting drunk to the point where he started doing stupid things. The girls just laughed at him while he bodyrolled for them and went underwater for so long that he almost collapsed.

It escalated quickly when he started kissing one of them.

The other girls got jealous and started fighting. Hoseok moved to kiss the next girl but didn't stop and continued to kiss her neck while his hands found their ways to her bikini top.

The girl he was kissing just enjoyed it but the others got mad.

"You asshole", the girl who had rented him, shouted and started hitting Hoseok.

That was how he got beat up by a group of drunk girls and fell out of a Jacuzzi.

Around five in the morning, Hoseok walked four miles home with no shirt on, hair still wet and money stuffed inside his pants.

He had bruises all over his body and really bad hangover which caused him to earn some disgusted looks from early joggers when he threw up in the bushes.

He went home and fell asleep on his couch.

--

Hoseok woke up around one in the afternoon. He felt like shit and didn't have a clear memory of what had happened after they went to the Jacuzzi or how he got home.

He got up and made coffee for himself, wondering where all the bruises came to his body from while he drank it.

After collecting and calculating all the crumpled money he found, he came up with total of fifty dollars which was a way less than he should've gotten from around seven hour gig and it was also almost half of the sum the girl had given to him at the beginning.

He put it into a box in his closet with all his other money, agonizing how he wouldn't have enough money when he had to pay the rent this month.

At this point, he finally put his phone that had died overnight, to charger. When it finally turned on, he noticed that he had two messages from Hyungwon.

He opened them as quickly as he could.

"Fuck, why I didn't notice these before", he was mad at himself because he had made Hyungwon upset.

His head got filled with regret because if he hadn't been partying with those girls, he probably would've noticed them sooner.

Hoping that there was still time to change the situation, he sent a message back, saying that he was free any time today and that Hyungwon shouldn't apologize and it was Hoseok's own fault for not responding sooner.

Some people rented him that day but Hoseok couldn't focus on anything but his phone while he was waiting for an answer. He understood well how Hyungwon had felt without getting a message back.

He got a lot of negative feedback and people saying how they would never rent him again. He didn't care.

Usually he was afraid to lose a client but with Hyungwon's situation, that was not what he feared for.

He was afraid that Hyungwon would lose a friend.

That was something he just couldn't let happen.

To his relief, after so many hours of waiting, Hyungwon finally answered, asking if he could rent Hoseok that evening. Hoseok, of course, said yes and cancelled all his other plans.
