Phil's POV
I must've read the letter Dan made me about 10 times. I just didn't understand why he felt he had to leave. I know I shouldn't blame myself, but if I hadn't let Caitlin sleep on my shoulder, none of this would've happened. I'm scared for Dan. I don't know where he is. I hope he's ok.
                          
Dan's POV
I ran. I ran as fast as I could run to my parent's (and my) old house. I unlocked the door and let myself in. I ran to the bathroom and splashed freezing water on my face. After that I punched myself and slapped myself. I do this whenever I'm upset, hoping that it's a nightmare and doing this will wake me up and I'll be happy and everything will be ok.
But that's not always how it works.
