Nibbling on some toast, Katrina sighed a little bored since there wasn't much for her to do now; the restaurant was quiet right now and Mesut was away for a match so he wouldn't be dropping in to surprise her.

The last couple of weeks had been nice and Katrina had even started to put a little thought into what she wanted for her wedding day especially now that her father was doing a lot better.

Kostas would be coming home in a few days and Katrina was sure that he was looking forward to that after spending nearly three months in hospital.

The door to the restaurant opened and Katrina perked up a little before realising that it was her mother and aunt; she had hoped it was some customers so that she could do something.

Getting to her feet, Katrina grabbed the coffee and some cups before walking over to the table where her mother and aunt had sat down; they had been shopping and were quickly discussing how things would work when Kostas came home.

"Hi Ma. Aunt Voula," Katrina greeted before pouring them both some coffee, she was sure that people would come to the restaurant soon; this was the quietest that restaurant had been in months.

It felt a little odd that there weren't people queuing up to have a table at the restaurant and now it was pretty quiet since things had calmed down around Mesut and Katrina.

Aunt Voula turned to say something to Katrina and stopped, she eyed the brunette and couldn't contain a smile as she realised that there was something different about her niece.

"You're pregnant," Aunt Voula announced making Maria stare at her shocked while Katrina looked at her aunt wondering what the hell she was talking about.

It almost made Katrina glad that the restaurant was practically empty right now, she could only imagine what would have happened if it had been packed.

"What? No Aunt Voula..." Katrina denied with a shake of her head, she was sure that she would know if she was and she wasn't sure how her aunt thought that she could be when she had no idea what went on when Katrina was at home.

Katrina had no doubts that she wasn't pregnant there was no possible way that she could be since she and Mesut had been extra careful to ensure that it wouldn't happen.

"This is such a joyous day," Maria gushed with a smile, she couldn't believe that she was going to be a grandmother again; she had been hoping that this day would come soon enough.

She wasn't even surprised that Katrina and Mesut would be welcoming a child so soon, it had crossed her mind that it would happen before the couple had been together for a year.

"I'm not pregnant," Katrina insisted making the two women look at her, she suddenly felt like doubting her own words; she was sure that she wasn't and she didn't know why her aunt and mother seemed to think that she was.

Nick wandered over from the kitchen with a curious look, his sister looked annoyed and he could only imagine what was being said now.

"Of course you are," Aunt Voula insisted with a big smile, she would have to find the perfect gift for her future great-niece or nephew; she wanted to gift them something wonderful.

Katrina opened her mouth to continue disagreeing, she was sure that if she was pregnant then she would know about it before anyone else; she hated that they thought that she was.

"Time for the test," Maria announced stopping any more arguing before she got to her feet and dragged Katrina out of the restaurant so that they could go and take a pregnancy test.

Katrina stared down at the positive pregnancy test in her hand, she couldn't believe that her aunt had actually been right; she was pregnant and she had no idea how she was going to break the news to Mesut.

It wasn't something that she would be able to keep from him long especially with how her mother wanted to celebrate the fact that this was her first child.

The door to her bedroom opened and Katrina stayed focused on the pregnancy test that she was holding, she wished that she knew what to do and she felt so lost right now with everyone celebrating downstairs.

They hadn't really talked about having children, both had assumed that they would be married before they had a baby to contend with and now that was all out of the window.

Athena and Toula sat down on either side of their sister, they didn't know what to say to her but she wasn't going to be alone in all of this.

"How did Aunt Voula know?" Katrina asked turning the pregnancy test over in her hands, she hadn't had any idea and yet their aunt had taken one look at her and figured out that Katrina was pregnant.

Athena took Katrina's hand, she hated seeing her sister so lost and confused, she cursed the fact that the family were so involved sometimes meaning that she had found out that she was pregnant.

"She knew I was pregnant with Kostas, Mikael and Elijah before I did," Athena revealed with a shake of her head, she had been surprised when Aunt Voula had announced that she was pregnant before she'd even know about it.

She had wanted to find out with her husband but that had been taken from her as soon as Aunt Voula had opened her mouth and she hadn't had the chance to tell her husband herself.

"And she knew that I was having Paris before I did," Toula added with a shake of her head, there was never a moment of peace in their family and she hoped that Katrina was going to be okay with sharing all of this with them.

Katrina sighed shaking her head, she couldn't believe this and she knew that she had to be the one to break the news to Mesut; she just hoped that he was going to be okay with the idea of them having a baby soon.

The tests could only tell her that she was about three weeks pregnant and Katrina had a feeling that they had conceived on Valentine's day; it did make her smile a little at the idea of that.

"How am I going to tell Mesut?" Katrina wondered aloud, she had no idea how to break the news to her fiancé; they had just started laying out plans for their wedding for the next year.

Athena and Toula shared a look, they would have to pull out all the stops to make sure that it was Katrina who told Mesut that they were going to have a baby together.

The last thing that the poor footballer needed was to come home from his match and find that everyone else knew that his fiancée was pregnant before Katrina had the chance to tell him.

"We'll think of something," Toula reassured with a smile, she was so happy for her sister and she was sure that it would all work out.

Mesut was going to be a wonderful father, there was no doubt about that especially seeing how he was with his own niece and he would be the same with any child that Katrina gave him.

Nodding her head, Katrina took a deep breath knowing that it would be fine; she was sure that Mesut would be surprised with the timing but thrilled with the news of baby.

It was still pretty early in her pregnancy and Katrina just hoped that everything was going to be okay; she wanted nothing more than to make this work.

All she had to do was make sure that she broke the news to Mesut before anyone else had the chance to.
