"Ashton." Luke kept calling his name as he walked after him on the sidewalk.

Ashton ignored once again and kept walking. He couldn't describe the horrible feeling that floated him. It was worse then any other pain he had when he couldn't control his powers and he didn't want to look or hear Luke at that moment.

The hurt feeling stunged deep in his chest.

"Ashton stop," Luke then grabbed the back of his jacket and stopped him.

"Let me go." Ashton spat harshly and cut himself from Luke's grip.

"Ashton." Luke grabbed his arm,

"I trusted you! And you went and bragged about the fact we.." Ashton's eyes were filled with hurt and betray and for the first time, Luke felt the need to comfort him. To say he is sorry not because it'll get him what he want, because he really did felt sorry.

"I'm sorry."

"Save it." Ashton looked at the ground now and took a step away from him.

"I really am Ashton, I didn't say anything to him-"

"You let him know! He suspected and you didn't mind he will know because its just another move in your powers battle." Ashton turned his back to him and started walking away again.

"He got it by himself-"

"You didn't deny, and I saw the looks I'm not stupid for god sake Luke!"

After that it was silent. Luke felt the need to hug Ashton tight and it was a foreign feeling, a one that caused him an inside battle

He never felt that way, sorry and the strong need to comfrot a sad boy.

"You're right." Luke stopped walking after him and shouted, hoping it will stop him.

"Of course I'm right! What we did is meant only for the two of us and you went and just told Liam.. like it meant nothing." Ashton spoke more quietly now but Luke heard it.

"It meant a lot I promise-"

"I don't believe you anymore." Ashton shoke his head as he kept walking and Luke started marching aftet him again.

"Liam won't tell anyone I'm sure-"

"He is basically my older brother, the fact he knows is worse then anyone else knowing."

It was silent again and Ashton stopped walking, just staring at the ground and feeling the need to cry but he held himself.

"Leave me alone." Ashton mutter when he felt Luke catching up with him. He took off his jacket and let it fall to the fround.

Luke should have prorect Ashton's dignity and not use it to hurt Liam. It crossed him once again and he let out a sigh of frustration, he acted in the only way he knew how to be but on the other hand there was Ashton, who made him feel feelings he never tried to understand befor.

"I should have protected you." Luke didn't touch him despite being right beside him now.

"It is something private and I should have protect your dignity."

"And I'm sorry."

Ashton sighed heavily and started walking again but more slow, not running away from Luke this time. Luke didn't know what to do and he was also fighting with himself.

Luke closed the distence and walked beside Ashton silently now, both boys not having something else to say.

Ashton was leading the way despite not knowing where he was going and it didn't really mattered to Luke because they needed his speed to get to Luke's house anyway. He knew he was just walking because he needed to calm down and he didn't want Luke to touch him like he would have to do in order to get them to his house.

"You're different to me Ashton." Luke confessed.

"It doesn't look like it."

"I know."

"Want to go back?" Luke asked after a few moments of silence.

"I want to be alone."

"Not outside. You can be alone in my house."

"But you will be there."

"I still need to keep you safe Ashton."

"I don't care. You just made me realize that all the creatures have no worth to feelings or otheres-"

"I told you that from the start."

And that kept Ashton quiet, he shoke his head and walked the other direction, making Luke hold on to his patient. He knew he said the wrong thing again.

Ashton wanted to just forget about it and hug Luke tightly, hold onto the little warmth and love he can still have in this world.

But everything was like a dagger in his heart, refusing to let him forget or even feel something else beside betray and hurt.

"I know you want to be alone but I can't let you walk around by yourself." Luke called after him and Ashton stayed in his place. Leaning in a brick wall and sitting on the ground moments later.
