{in which Ben becomes the new king of Auradon.}
-----
The morning arrived quickly, and I was escorted and dressed by a crew.
They put on my dress and did my makeup, making sure I looked perfect for the cameras.
I looked in the mirror carefully, scanning every inch of my long red dress.
My hands were shaky and my palms were sweaty. I took a deep breath.
"You can do this." I whispered, giving myself a small pep talk.
I was broken from my thoughts from a knock at the door.
"Are you ready?" I heard Ben speak to me.
I slowly twirled, showing off my dress, but being careful not to fall.
"Wow." He took a deep breath. "You look stunning."
"So do you." I said quickly, and he laughed.
"I mean," I walked towards him. "You look very princely."
I took his hand, and we walked down the hall towards the carriage that awaited us outside.
As we rode, I was speechless. There were so many people waving and cheering, all for Ben.
I smiled and waved as we rode through the town.
"Oh, and here comes Ben now." Snow White, the interviewer for the coronation show gushed.
I stared at the box, which contained the brownie I made, and readied myself for what would probably be the hardest thing I've ever done.
"Don't be nervous." Ben took my hand. "All you have to do is sit there and look beautiful."
He pushed my leg playfully, pausing.
"No problem there." He added smoothly.
I smiled kindly. "Thank you."
"Grace, would you wear my ring?" He asked me, beginning to take it off.
"Um... not now." I stopped him. "I think it would probably just fall right off of me."
If I put that ring on, I wouldn't mentally be able to give him that brownie, which is something I have to do.
We were silent for a brief moment, before I began the plan.
"I have something for you." I told him.
"For me?" He grinned, genuinely surprised.
"Yeah." I handed him the box. "It's just for later, you know, when you need strength. Some carbs to keep up your energy."
"Always thinking." He complimented. "But I can't wait."
He took a bite.
"No!" I cried, worried the spell would leave and he would stop me before I could get the wand.
"Mm! This is really good." He told me, mouth full of brownie.
"Uh, do you," I stumbled on my words, on the verge of extreme panic.
