{what has been seen, cannot be unseen}

The valley was spacious and bountiful, I roamed aimlessly upon it. Everything was covered in ice which made the earth look pure, it was strange it hardly snowed in awoken. I causally let my feet guide me down the now frozen fern lake, the bits of ice floated gently over me. It was like a dance how the air spun around me making the naked branches on the trees sway with ease. Then there was a sound...a animal perhaps? Stopping in my tracks I came face to face with a dark figure it lurked a few feet in front of me. No not an animal...a man? I watched as it watched me...the air grew still.

Run run.

My mind told me but no matter how much i wanted to move I couldn't I was stuck...frozen in place.

Run.

The figure continued fixated on me. Until it spoke.

"Why are you here?"

The voice was neutral but blunt. I didn't know how to answer such a question, realizing the place in which I stood I hadn't had a clue on how I ended up here.

"I-I don't know" my words were dry and fragile due to the weather, it even felt harder to breath at this moment.

"You shouldn't be here...no child of tallad should."

Taken back by this strangers words I some what felt offended. Was this not tallad? Is this not earth on which my two feet stand? I was about to utter another word until my mind began to shake, it shook to the point till my vision became distorted, Gradually the oxygen in my lungs tightened as if a rope was knotted around my throat, I groped towards the space in front of me only to no avail.

I'm dying.

The pain grew worse and worse in my head, I was falling now down down into a darkness as I shot my eyes back to the small distant spot of light that was now miles away from me, I was looking through a hollow tunnel of snow...I saw it...the stranger gazing back, but only this time it's eyes shined a brilliant pale blue. Like icy diamonds, piercing. Frightening. It was the last thing I saw...and a part of me hoped to see again.

I sat up quickly gasping to catch my breath it felt like I had been running for hours, a little disoriented my eyes roamed around my room, it was all dark I was only able to see my glass clock on my wall thankfully from the moon light that beamed its way through my window. It was close to midnight.

"Same dream again?"

A small but tired voice came from my doorway, I turned my head to see my mom standing there in her white silk robe. Her left hand was lazily gripped around her right arm.

"Something like that." I rubbed my eyes to fight back the tears, not from sadness but from frustration. Ever since I was little I would have this same dream, but most of the time there would be no talking no voices. This time it was different...it actually spoke to me.

"I heard you from upstairs Eclipse. Do you want to talk about it?" She waited for my response.

I patted the spot next to me inviting her to sit down on my bed. She silently walked over to my bed sitting down with a weary concerned expression.

"It talked...it talked to me this this time mom." I whispered.

I could see an emotion that I couldn't read very well show then quickly fade on her face.
