The expression on Marlo's face when I took out the skittles was priceless. I would have fallen into hysterical laugh if he hadn't taken the skittles out of my hands and launched it across the school with his hands. Still worth it. Marlo looked at me with his beautiful blue eyes. It felt weird looking at him without glasses. I gotta admit, he is still handsome. (If he finds out what I said, I'm never gonna hear the end of it so I'm going to have to slap him.)
We stayed together and I could feel how much he loved me. My emotions raced too. He stole a quick kiss and my face heated up. Sometimes, I really hate him because he's the only guy that makes my heart go from 1 to a million quickly. Nobody spoke a word as we sat in the garden. I stared off into the sky and looked at the moon remembering the last time I looked at it. It was a few years ago and I was dealing with the worse things I could remember. If you haven't caught on, I have a mood swing problem. And before I came here, everyone fed of that to attack me. I still remember so many painful things. Once, the kids locked me in a school closet for an entire day and the teacher found me crying the very next morning. Once in a while, there was a teacher I could bond with since I had no one. Lots of teachers picked on me too so I ended up skipping school a lot.
Even now, I'm trying to convince myself that I have friends, a family. It's hard when you grew up with a mom that disowned you for any little thing. I didn't agree with anything she did.. That's probably why she...---- Never mind. I don't want to think about her. It's too much for me to deal with.
I felt my thoughts drift again. I remembered the small things that I didn't usually put too much mind to. Like when I get got an A on a test or the cute bunnies I ran into every now and then. Simple things like that is what made me happy back then. Now I have Marlo, Jackie, Zander, Merci, and Steel. Maybe even Bow.
Marlo tapped my shoulder bringing me back to reality.
"You ok? You look... worried and stressed,"
He said a bit concerned.I shook my head and smiled softly, "I'm alright."
He raised an eyebrow. "I can feel your emotions ya know."
I rolled my eyes, "come on Marlo we need to head to Amazon class," I told him.
"Don't think I'll forget about this. After class we have a break and we will talk about it."
"Yes mother," I rolled my eyes again.
We met up with Steel and Merci and headed to Zander and Jackie dorm.
We heard lots of commotion and yelling. Looks like Zander is causing trouble... Again
We entered and saw Zander hissing under his blanket and Jackie breathing heavily.
"We need to go to class!"
"I wanna sleep!" He whined.
"ZANDER!"
"He's not here right now. Please leave a message after the beep. Oops mailbox is full."
Marlo was trying not to crack up and I rubbed my temple. "We're gonna be late."
"Zander Hall, we are going to class whether you like it or not!"
"Good luck! You'll have to carry me."
Jackie pondered this and walked over and wrap him in his blanket like a sack and carried him over her shoulder.
"Oi!" He said muffled.
"Let's go," she said and walked out as Zander struggled in his blanket.
We thought it was best not to say anything so we headed to Amazon class.
