HOLY SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS IT IS HOT!!!!! I've been begging the parents to put up the air conditioners but no. What to they do? They give me a small little fan about the size of a textbook. -_- WHHHHYYYYYYY?!?! Oh well it's better than nothing at least. Sorry this is a bit late, we went fishing at 6 in the morning at then we got back at 12 and I took a 6 hour nap. Fun. Then mother nature decided to make Ohio hot a sticky so I feel super uncomfortable.
Am I the only one who just feels like doing nothing when it gets hot out? Like the heat makes me lazy. Well.., lazier than before. BUT ANYWAYS Here's your chapter! Enjoy!
Oh also there's a bit more cussing in this chapter so fair warning for that.

I stare at the small suburban home in front of me. It looks horrible, the grass looks like it hasn't been mowed in years and there are weeds about as tall as me. There is trash thrown through out the yard and a broken couch sitting on the curb. The mailbox is stuffed with mail and there are newspapers still in their plastic wrappers on the small patio.
It looks like no one has lived here in a while.
Or a person who really doesn't give two shits.
Sadly it's the second one. I stare at the big window that opens to the living room. I can see the faint flickering light of a TV and I vaguely see a silhouette of someone sitting in their favorite chair. I frown, I do not want to go in there.
"(Y/N)?"
I jump at the sound of Sans voice. I almost forgot he was there. "S-Sorry Sans I'm just a bit..."
He gives me a reassuring smile. "Hey it's alright, I'm right here for you.Remember we just need to ask her consent to have a bit of her life energy." He pulls out the small extraction tool Alphys gave us. "Then we just stick her soul in the compartments and take about 15% like Alphys said."
"I know...it's just her..." I bite my lip and look out towards the window again, Sans grabs my hand and gives me a reassuring squeeze. I turn to look at him and he raises the bone above his eyes like he's raising his eyebrows. How the hell does one move bone? Magic. Riiiiight. I look back toward the window and nod. He sadly lets go of my hand as we both get out but I'm pleased when his fingers wrap around mine once we meet up again.
We walk on the small cracked stone path to the door on the concrete patio. I stop in front of the door and take a deep breath before I knock. We're standing there for about a minute when I decide to knock again. Nothing. Anger fills me. "Are you fucking kidding me." I kick the door. The frame and the door shake, if she didn't hear the knocking she sure as hell heard that. There's a little rustle of movement. "I'm coming in!" I shout. This is important, I have to save Frisk.
I open the door only to have it stop after a couple inches by a bolt and chain. Sans puts a hand on my shoulder and moves me behind him. He closes the door and his eye start to glow blue like it does when we teleport. I hear the movement of the chain and the door opens. "Thanks, it would've sucked to have to knock the door down."
"Yeah, you mean try to?"
"Oh shut up I'm not weak." he just chuckles as I move past him into the house. The smell hits me almost immediately. Drugs, alcohol, smoke, and the smell of days of garbage that she was too lazy to ever pick up. I almost gag, I hate this smell. It reminds of the times that I stayed here. When i was in constant fear that she would find something to get mad about and let it out on me.
Or worse Frisk.
I walk towards the living room where the TV was glowing. When we walk in I'm not surprised to see all of the empty and full bottles of alcohol and a lot of ashes next to the chair. There are trash bags full of lord knows what in the corner but other than that and the chair and TV its empty. I'm guessing she ran into her room to hide or something. Why would she feel the need to hide though?
