From walking home and talking loads
To seeing shows in evening clothes with you
From nervous touch and getting drunk
To staying up and waking up with you
                          
It's crazy how things change, huh? One minute your in a Skype call with the friends you made over the internet, making videos to entertain your YouTube viewers, the next minute, you're heading to some stupid job you hate, but it's a paying job and you have to support your family.
                          
But now we're slipping at the edge
Holding something we don't need
All this delusion in our heads
Is gonna bring us to our knees
                          
"REALLY, DELUXE! IS THAT WHAT YOU THINK?"
                          
"Come on, Hova, you're overreacting."
                          
"Overreacting? Ha, Shadow. Maybe this whole "crew" thing is overreacting."
                          
And just like that, you're whole world changes.

"Shadow, is this really how it ends?"
                          
"I'm afraid so, Side."

"We can be friends, Albi. I just don't want to do this YouTube thing anymore."
                          
"You can't do it without them either, huh. I thought you were the strong one. You were the blunt, honest, forgiving one."
                          
"I wish that was true. I want to do it, but I can't do it. They gave me my start, I can't do it without them."
                          
From throwing clothes across the floor
To teeth and claws and slamming doors at you
If this is all we're living for
Why are we doing it, doing it, doing it anymore?
                          
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO COME HERE, SIDE!"
                          
"I COULDN'T HELP IT! YOU WOULDN'T ANSWER MY CALLS, TEXT, SKYPE CALLS, OR ANYTHING! I HAD TO KNOW IF YOU WERE OKAY!"
                          
"I'm fine."
                          
"I can't lose you too. I can't. I already lost Speedy and Deluxe, not you. I can't."
                          
"You won't, man. I'm not gonna go anywhere."
                          
"Then get away from the ledge."
                          
"Side, I'm just sitting here. I didn't plan on jumping, and I won't. Come sit. It's kinda peaceful."
                          
I used to recognize myself
It's funny how reflections change
When we're becoming something else

"Shadow, you ready?"
                          
"Am I really doing this, Side?"
                          
"Really going to get married? Yes."
                          
"This doesn't feel right."
                          
"I agree, man. Times have changed way too fast."
                          
"I feel stupid."
                          
"You don't look like you in a tux. You look older, less like the Shadow I met over Xbox."
                          
"And you grew 5 inches, kid. Now, best man, get to your spot so I can get to mine."

Trying to fit your hand inside of mine
When we know it just don't belong

"Hova, we can't be friends. It's not gonna work that way. You've said too much and most of that, I'll never forgive you for. You know how long SideArms was depressed over Speedy's death and then you just kept pushing him."
                          
"He forgave me, why can't you?"
                          
"Because, I see the real in people. I watched him get hurt once, I'm not gonna let it happen again. He's happy and engaged. Let him be."
                          
"I'll check up on you guys in a year. I want to get the remainder of us together for a week, maybe Vegas?"
                          
"We'll see, Hova. Tell me what the others say."
                          
Trying to push this problem up the hill
When it's just too heavy to hold
Think now's the time to let it slide 
                          
"Hova, you know we can't all can't see eye to eye, so this was just a bad idea. I don't want to fight with you guys." 
"Joel's right, Hova. What's done is done. It's over now. We all know they wouldn't want us to fight."
