Aubrey's POV
"Sh Kingsley, we're trying not to wake daddy," I whispered and her green eyes looked up at me, I smiled down at her.
Then I heard the footsteps and I groaned, I looked to see Braxton emerging from the stairs. He was wearing pajama pants that hung long on his waist and he was shirtless. As was I.
"Braxton, go back to bed," I said.
"What're you doing?" He asked and moving me from the stove. "I'm cooking and you're sitting your skinny ass down feeding my child."
"Our child," I corrected and he rolled his eyes. He walked to me and kissed my forehead, then kissed Kingsley's little forehead.
"Why are you shirtless?" He asked.
"Because, I didn't feel like getting dressed and Kingsley didn't seem to mind," I said and his lips curled into smirk. "I see you don't mind either."
"Not at all, my Queen," he said and kissed me. "I really missed you."
"Yeah, you showed me how much last night," I said and he smiled at that, I playfully hit his face. "Stop that."
"I kinda had the feeling you were going to leave while I was asleep," he said.
"I thought about it," I admitted and he came closer.
"Did you realize who your daddy was?" He asked and kissed my ear, causing my to involuntarily shiver. He laughed as he reached and took Kingsley from me.
"Careful," I said, but I only earned a dirty look from him.
"Good morning, my princess," he said as he held her up. "Did you miss daddy? Because daddy missed you."
"Yeah, I missed daddy too," I said and he looked at me, he laid Kingsley on his chest and walked to me.
"I'm going to make it all up to you," he said. "You and Kingsley."
"Braxton, you-"
"Don't argue or I will hurt you," he said in that voice that wasn't scary, but you knew not to talk back. I smirked back slightly.
"Yes sir," I said and he placed one last kiss on my nose making me laugh. "Would you like breakfast?"
"Pancakes," he said and I saw him sit Kingsley on the counter.
"Please, be careful," I said and he shot me a sharp look. "My bad, mother scares." He shook his head and I went back to cooking pancakes.
"Let me see the dark sides, as well as the rest," Braxton's iHome played throughout the house
Soon Braxton had turned on music and he was dancing around with cackling Kingsley. I finished up the pancakes and was watching the two, it was pretty entertaining.
He finally walked over and grabbed a pancake, he took a bite and looked at Kingsley trying to grab it.
"I know it's sad baby girl, but you can't have no pancakes yet," he said. "No you can't." He put her in her high chair and I just smiled. He suddenly grabbed the syrup and put his pancake on a plate, he put syrup over it and Braxton eyed the bottle.
