Once I was twenty years old, my story got told
Before the morning sun, when life was lonely
Once I was twenty years old

I only see my goals, I don't believe in failure
'Cause I know the smallest voices, they can make it major
I got my boys with me at least those in favor
And if we don't meet before I leave, I hope I'll see you later

Once I was twenty years old, my story got told
I was writing about everything, I saw before me
Once I was twenty years old
Soon we'll be thirty years old, our songs have been sold
We've traveled around the world and we're still roaming
Soon we'll be thirty years old

I'm still learning about life
My woman brought children for me
So I can sing them all my songs
And I can tell them stories
Most of my boys are with me
Some are still out seeking glory
And some I had to leave behind
My brother I'm still sorry

Soon I'll be sixty years old, my daddy got sixty-one
Remember life and then your life becomes a better one
I made a man so happy when I wrote a letter once
I hope my children come and visit, once or twice a month

Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me
Soon I'll be sixty years old
Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold
Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me
Soon I'll be sixty years old

Once I was seven years old, momma told me
Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely
Once I was seven years old

Once I was seven years old

I scrub my hair and let the water rinse out the soap away. I hum the melody to the song as I let the warm water cascade over my body and relax my body. Once I am done I turn of the tap and wrap a white towel around me. I step out of the shower and quickly dry myself before changing into my outfit of the day. I quickly blow dry my hair before placing it into a neat pony tail. I quickly add some light make up before I head downstairs for breakfast. I walk into the kitchen and the cook greets me with a warm and welcoming smile.

"Good morning Ms. Hamilton what may I get you?" He asked.

"Call me Jane, and pancakes would be nice." I respond with a smile.

The chef nods before starting on my breakfast. Mhmm, that's weird Adrian isn't up yet. Probably still sleeping because of yesterday. Although it shouldn't bother me, it did. The thought simple thought makes me angry because I am his fiancé, fake or not.

Flashback

I wake up from my slumber with a dry mouth. I look over at the clock which marked twelve o'clock. It's been five hours since Adrian dropped me off at the house. I decide to go get myself a cup of water so I put on my slippers before walking out of my bedroom. Once I get my cup of water I start making my way towards my room. But I am stopped by the sound of the front door opening. I hide behind the wall and peak through the corner. Adrian walks in with a blonde chic. They both stumble their way towards one of the quest rooms and they don't even have the dignity to close the door. I roll my eyes before heading upstairs.

Flashback Over

It was really rude of him to do that. Although I am not his real fiancé he should still respect me! I let out a soft sigh before smiling at the cook as he placed my food in front of me.
