I pulled away from him a few minutes later. We were both breathing heavily, me more than him. He brought me into him, my head rested against his chest while his was on top of mine.

"Please don't do that again." I just nodded obediently, what else could I do? I was confused with my emotions right now and the day had been too much starting with the fight, meeting Jay, and fighting with Nathan. Mostly I was confused of what Nathan was to me.

"What is this?" He pulled away and gave me a blank stare. "This." I gestured between us both.

"Whatever you make of it. I want you more than anything and you already know that, however I don't have a say. It is and will always be your choice." He rubbed my side and looked at me with hope in his eyes.

"I-"

"No I'm not going to make you decide now, just know I can't wait forever. I'm not human. My emotions are permanent, they don't lose interest like mortal men. It will always be you." He spoke into my ear and let me go. I was left more confused than before. I didn't know what I wanted to be honest.

"Okay." I muttered. There really was nothing I could say. I've always been rather cautious in making decisions that would highly infect my life. This one just left me undecided though. I'd been torn. He'd made it clear that a fallen angel's life wasn't safe, the danger attracted me though. I'd always been a magnet for trouble, was this too much though? I shook my head and took a seat. He was right I couldn't decide this right now.

"Would you like to go anywhere?" He asked a few hours later. My head perked up. I'd been bored to tears in the apartment all day everyday. "I've noticed that you haven't been that happy."

I nodded eagerly. "I could use some fun."

"I know a place." He said. "Consider this a proper date, we wouldn't want a repeat of last time." He smirked a little and left the room. I looked down at the fading scar my phone's screen had left upon my hand.

I moved towards the bedroom and looked at the clothing I had gotten, I really had the urge to remain in my gym shorts and a t-shirt. They were just too damn comfortable. I sighed and picked up a pair of black jeans and a plad shirt. It kept me warm from the chilly night air.

"I'm ready." I said while walking out. Nathan had changed into a pair of jeans and a grey t-shirt. He looked nice, I couldn't help but stare.

"So where are we going?"

"You'll see." He looked nervous like he was hiding something.

"What's wrong?" I had to ask the question audibly blew out of my mouth before I could stop it.

"Just not comfortable about taking you out. Don't want an incident with the likes of Garrett." He spit out his name and shook a little.

"Don't worry we'll be fine. I think you'll protect me." I added the last one in and it reached its desired result as it maximized his bravado. He shot me a small smile and walked towards me.

"I'm glad you think that." He bent down and stole a kiss. Surprising me as I stared wide eyed when he pulled away with a sneaky smirk plastered on his face. He jiggled the car keys in his hand and whispered a little tune as we made it to the car. We drove and drove for what felt like hours, but was only about half an hour.

His hand reached out and turned the knob of the radio. The Script started singing through the car's speakers.

"You like The Script?" A slight smile played upon my lips as he nodded.

"What do you like?" He asked me interest obtained his voice showing me he actually cared.

"I like alot, but my absolute favorites would definitely be Christina Perri, Lawson, The Civil Wars, and Lana Del Rey-"
