A few weeks have gone by and its so close to the wedding. Michael and I are again at his mother, Mei's house. I sitting on the couch reading a food magazine, Michael is in the garden with his mom picking so flowers. Kai then comes into the living room.
"Oh, Kai hey" I say.
"Oh, hey Alyssa....where is Michael?" he asked.
"He's in the garden with your mom, do you need something from him?"
"Oh, n-no just wondering.....this seat taken?" he asked as he looked at the seat beside me.
"No go ahead" I say with a smile and he sits down and turns on the television.
Kai turn the television on and it was the anime your lie in April (another favorite of mine).
"You like anime too?" I say as I look up from my magazine.
"You watch this stuff?" He asked with surprise.
"Yeah of course anime is awesome" after I said this his eyes seemed to light up.
"This is my favorite one" he said.
Just then I realized Kai's hair, it was rainbow! his hair was actually rainbow, I started to giggle.
"K-Kai why is your hair like that?" I say with a giggle.
"I did it for the band, we have this theme were every month I change my hair color and this month its rainbow" he said with a proud smile and I burst out laughing and Kai smiles.
Just then Michael walks in and sees Kai.
"Alyssa? What's so funny?" Michael asked.
"K-Kai, Kai's hair" I say as I wipe my eyes.
"Kai? Is your hair rainbow!" Michael shouted.
"Yeah, cool right" he said with a smile.
"Well its different, anyway Alyssa mom said she wants you stay for dinner you in?" Michael asked.
"Yeah, that would be great" I say.
Later after dinner I'm out on the porch again looking out to stars, I then hear the door open.
"Bout time yo-....Kai?"
"Expecting Michael?" he said.
"Sorry, it's normally Michael that comes out here with me" I say.
"You know Michael is really lucky" Kai said.
"And why is that?"
"Because he's marrying a bride like you"
"Oh, um, thanks"
"I'm kinda jealous of him he's marrying a girl I think of as a dream girl" Kai said and I start feel shy.
"A girl that appreciates what I do, a girl that is loyal, a girl how will never leave me for any reason, as girl....like you" Kai said as he looked at me.
"Kai I love Michael, I'm sorry"
"It's okay I know your his, I know I could never get you to love me like you love Michael....just don't hate me for this" Kai said.
Kai pushes me into the railing of the porch and grabs my arms.
"Kai! What are you doing! Let go!" I shout but he does nothing.
he moves in closer, and closer, his lips where on mine, he was kissing me.
"Mhmm!" I try to push him off me but he doesn't budge. I then hear the door open.
"What the fuck are you two doing?!"
I know that voice it was Michael, Kai then lets go of me and I see his smirk.
"I'll ask again what the fuck are you doing?" his tone was harsh and sour.
"What does it look like" Kai said and Michael grabbed his brother by his collar.
"Michael!" I shout as I try to pull them apart.
"What the fuck did you say, speak up"
"I-kissed-your-girl-and-I-liked-it" Kai said and Michael lifts up his arm ready to punch him. I grab onto his arm to stop him.
"Michael! Don't! If you do this you'll regret it forever!" I shout.
I feel Michael's arm shake with fear as I say these words. He lets go of Kai and looks me.
"I'm sorry Michael, but-" Michael cuts me off.
"Save it, I don't want to hear it" He said.
My heart breaks, It throbs painfully in my chest as Michael moves past me without saying anything else.
"Michael!" I yell out and grab onto his arm.
"Please hear me out! I would never do anything to hurt you, you mean to much to me, please Michael hear me out, hear your brother out" I say and Michael shakes again.
He pulls his hand apart from me and my heart breaks again.
"I think I saw enough" he said and walked away from me. he walked into his garage and I hear a motor start, it was him on his motor bike I see him drive off.
"Michael!...Michael" I say as I sink into the ground.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I love you Michael I'm sorry" I say as tears fell from my eyes.
