Linh eyed Percy as he high fived Argus at the entrance to Camp Half Blood. With all of the eyes covering Argus's body Linh felt uneasy, and wondered if it hurt the eyes on Argus's hand when Percy high fived him.
"How's camp been?" Percy asked Argus as they began to walk down Half Blood Hill. Linh stared out at the lush green hills beneath her and watched Nymphs and Satyrs near the lake. She spotted other kids, demigods, near a horseshoe of cabins. Linh could tell that the air got slightly better from the air outside the camp, although it wasn't close to as clean as the elves'.
"Nothing unusual. Apollo went off on a quest, but everyone else if here," Argus replied, and Linh saw all his eyes blink at once.
"Did Jason and Piper come yet?" Percy asked hopefully.
"They flew in from California yesterday," Argus said.
"I thought you couldn't use planes?" Linh asked Percy.
Percy seemed to turn green at the thought. "I can't, being the son of Poseidon, but since Jason is the son of Jupiter, Zeus in his Roman form, he can fly and control the winds. He can use planes since his father wouldn't blast him out of the sky. If I fly though... Well, I try to avoid it as much as possible."
"Your exaggerating." A satyr trotted over to them and munched on a can.
"Grover!" Percy yelped, and hugged him. "I'm so glad you came, I know your busy, but Annabeth..."
Percy turned, looking at Annabeth who hung limply in Fitz's arms. Grover seemed to blanch when he saw her.
"We'll fix her." Grover tried to sound positive, but his voice was weak. Percy slumped down further. When Percy found out about camp he got a new energy in him, but it seemed to be draining away.
Sophie seemed to sense this and tried to help, "We will fix her. I'm sure this will work." Sophie looked confident, but Linh could detect a hint of uncertainty in her eyes. Percy nodded, and looked more determined.
They walked further until they reached a big cabin, which Percy called the Big House. Argus waved goodbye and walked back up the hill, and Percy raced forward. "Chiron!" He called out, and soon a centaur came out of the cabin.
"Percy?" Chiron asked, and Percy ran up and gave him a hug. Chiron patted him on the back, beaming, but his smile faded when he looked over Percy's shoulder and saw Annabeth.
"So it's true," Chiron mumbled. "What happened in Katropis." Percy nodded solemnly.
"But," Sophie added. "We know how to fix her. I know I can." Linh could tell Sophie was partly trying to convince herself.
"Ah yes, the elves," Chiron said, "Percy iris messaged me, as well as everyone that's good friends with Annabeth, that he's coming. You could have told me more about the situation though," Chiron added looking at Percy. "He was quite vague," He told Sophie.
"I was in a bit of a rush with Annabeth," Percy explained. "We made really good time though, with Sophie's teleportation and all."
"About that, I'd like to talk to you about that later, all of you, about your abilities. But for now I'll wait, since I assume that you want to see your friends."
"Everyone came? Frank, Hazel, Leo?" Percy asked.
"Everyone's here," Chiron announced.
