I was just packing up, ready to go home. Adam had just left, Ross and Michael were going to the mall for some supplies for some challenge videos they're preparing and John is just in the toilet. I pushed my chair in under my desk and walked out of my office, closing the door behind me.

Stretching my aching muscles, I go off looking for Max. He was in a bad mood because he was out at lunch for longer than he was meant to be because he lost track of time and Adam was a bit pissed at him. Max was still sitting at his desk, furiously clicking his mouse, trying to close his editing software. His computer was being somewhat slower and that just made him madder.

"For fucks sake!" Max groaned, pushing his chair out, making it topple over. He turned to see me staring at him from accross the room, giving him an awkward expression while he sighed and picked his chair up. "Sorry..." He breathed sharply, turning back to his computer and switching it off. "I'll deal with that tomorow..." He sighed and picked up his hat from the desk and planted it over his ginger locks.

"Still pissed I assume." I say, a small chuckle on my voice. Max gave me a tired grunt of agreement and turned out the lights, walking towards the door. I followed.

"I'm your ride, right?" Max asked, half opening the door, pausing to turn to me.

"Uh... Yeah?" I say extremely sarcastically, putting on the obvious tone of voice to further annoy Max. "Yeah, sorry yeah you are..." I said, realising he wasn't smiling with me. I shook my head and in my head I was punching myself over and over again.

We walked towards his car and he unlocked it, walking around the the drivers side and dragging himself inside. I got in the shotgun seat and pulled my belt on, Max pulled his belt on and cleared his throat. "Did you finishing editing John's video?" Max asked, putting the key in th eignition.

"Yeah, it was hard because Michael wouldn't shut up during so I couldn't figure out where to cut exactly." I laughed. Max smirked and we pulled away from the parking lot. Max switched on the radio and on popped some classical music. "What the hell is this crap?" I said, laughing while turning towards Max.

"I don't know!" Max said loudly, a small tinge of humour appearing as he switched the station. Some good music actually came on and we laughed a bit. I leaned on the door, elbow pressing against the window while I looked out into the dark night. It had just began to rain and small droplets of water formed around the edges of the windows, while some dripped down the windows. I yawned to myself and heard Max yawn too. I smiled a little and slowly closed my eyes, exhaustion taking over my entire body.

My body was being shaken and lightly slapped when I slowly, reluctantly opened my eyes, squinting at the faint glow of the streetlights. "We're home, buddy." Max said, undoing my belt and hopping out of the car. I felt my face, it was a bit raw as Max had been slapping me awake. I sighed and followed suit, jumping out and closing the door behind me.

Max locked the car and we headed upstairs. We were at the last few steps when Max turned to me and began speaking. "How's your head?" He asked, giving me a worried look. I smiled and rubbed it.

"Oh it's fine. Jusr a bit sore is all." I said, giving Max a pleased smile. Max copied my smile and continued walking. We arrived at his door and he went inside, saying his goodbyes. I waved him goodbye while I unlocked the door to my apartment and headed inside myself.

I woke up the next morning to the sun sliding through my curtains, blinding me as I sat up in my bed. I checked the clock on the wall and saw it was 9.45am. I sighed and laid back down, rubbing my hands through my hair and over my face. I yawned and rolled out of bed, heading for the kitchen.

Pouring myself some cereal, I grabbed the nearby remote and switched on the tv, putting on some stupid reality show. I sighed and proceeded to eat my cereal, a knock at the door interrupting me as I sat down.

I stood up from the couch and walked towards the door, calling out "Who's there?" I said loudly. Max replied with a chuckle and I answered the door, allowing Max inside. Max walked in with speed and spoke.

"Sorry to bother you so early, R/N but I really need to show you something!" Max said, beaming smile appearing over his face. His beautiful lime eyes wide with excitement, his beard neat and a light orange. I smiled and nodded.

Max pulled some cards from his pockets and showed them to me. They we Undertale cards. "What are they?" I asked, Max gave me a mysterious grin and began to explain.

"They're for a card game I'm making. It's an Undertale card game obviously but I wanna see how well I can't recreate the game for everyone at the office so we can all play it sometime." I smiled and took some cards, checking their stats and pictures. I laughed when I saw Sans' secret move: "Skeletal Humour" and Max joined in with the chuckle.

When Max was done showing me the cards he checked his watch. "Shite! I've gotta go shower and get ready for work! You want a lift again?" Max asked. I nodded and chuckled slightly. While Max turned to the door he paused in the doorway. He turned back at me and gave me a awkward smile and stopped towards me.

All of a sudden I felt light-headed, dizzy. I felt Max's hands grasping my arms and I felt his lips push against mine. I froze. His beard scratched against my face and sent bolts of pleasure through me. Max traced his tongue along my bottom lip and I let it open. His tongue slid into my mouth with ease and soon enough I was kissing him back. I moaned lightly and adjusted my head so our noses weren't colliding.

I pushed my tongue into Max's mouth and felt him shift. His hand tracked down my arm and to my jeans, his fingers wriggling against my crotch area. I moaned again and Max pushed me back slightly.

All of a sudden, Max pulled away, his eyes wide and full of fear. He rubbed his hands through his hair and groaned in annoyance, giving me an awkward look. I stood in front of him, breathless, panting nearly. "Shit I'm sorry... I'm... I must've read your signs wrong... Sorry!" Max said, instantly turning and running out of my apartment.

Before I could stop him I heard his door slam and I was left alone. I sighed and closed my door, sitting down next to my cereal. I leaned with my head in my hands, trying to come to terms with what had just happened. Max kissed me. Me. I didn't kiss him, well, I did but not first.

I finished my cereal and headed to work, finding out that Max had left earlier without showering. Ross offered me a ride and we headed to work, the sun shinning brighter. As we approached the offices I felt a tinge of happiness and I began to smile widely to myself when I saw Max's car in his usual place.
