They didn't arrive back at the tower until the late afternoon, but Wanda was still exhausted from the session at the mansion. If Nik were here, he would make her tea and run her a bath, but he wasn't here, so she would have to do it herself—without his encouraging compliments of how strong she was getting.

As she walked into her room, she stood at the door for a second and thought of her eventful morning. She had made another appointment with the Professor for next week, and though she wished they could have spoken today, she was glad she'd have a few more days to gather her thoughts before sitting down with him.

Wanda threw her bag on the floor and fell down on her bed. The corset part of her suit was pinching her waist, but she was too tired to take it off. But she managed to shrug off her jacket without having to get up, and she threw it on the floor and went back to relaxing.

"Don't fall asleep with that on, or else you'll wake up with marks deep enough to look like scars." Wanda smiled at the sound of Natasha's voice, and she pushed herself up and found her standing near the door. "Here, let me help you."

Natasha walked over to Wanda, and her warm hands rested on Wanda's shoulders for a second before roaming down the corset. It was always a hassle putting the damn thing on, but taking it off—feeling the sensation of relief—was the best feeling in the world.

It only took Natasha a minute to pull the strings apart and unzip the corset, and when Wanda pulled it off, she felt her chest expand to it's natural shape. She sighed in relief, and threw her corset in the corner with her jacket. "Thank you," she said, and she was suddenly aware that she wasn't wearing anything else save for her pants. "Sorry," she said quickly, standing up and covering herself.

"Nothing to be sorry about; I've got them too," Natasha said, and Wanda grinned, her cheeks hot with embarrassment. She pulled out a bra and shirt from her suitcase and dressed quickly, kicking off her boots in the process. "I can get it resized if it's too tight, at least you'll be more comfortable when you're kicking someone's ass."

"I think I grew while I was away," Wanda commented, pulling the shirt over her head. "Didn't realize that until I stuffed myself into that thing this morning."

"I'll have your new corset ready by Sunday," Natasha said, grinning. Wanda sat back down on the bed, crossing her legs and pushing her thick hair out of the way. "Are you okay?" Natasha asked, and the question was so sudden that Wanda just stared blankly at Natasha for too long before answering.

"I think so...yes. I'm okay."

"Steve told me you did good."

"Did he?"

"Yes. He also said that your corset looked too tight, then he had me come down here to make sure you didn't suffocate to death."

Wanda's eyes widened. "No he didn't..." she muttered, looking over at her corset on the floor.

"I'm just kidding," Natasha laughed, and Wanda slapped her knee, joining her in laughter. Their laughter died down, and Wanda wanted to fall back on her pillow and sleep for the rest of the day, but she could sense something was wrong with Natasha. It was in the way her eyes looked; they were tired and morose, but Wanda didn't know why.

"Have you spoken to Bucky?" she asked, hoping this was the reason. Natasha kicked her shoes off and proceeded to lay down. Wanda moved all the way to the wall-side of the bed, and she waited until Natasha got situated before laying down herself. They stared up at the ceiling for a good ten minutes before Natasha answered her question.
