About a month and a half has went by and no major calls where Shaylynn has had to go into major action or bring "Henry" out (Henry is what she calls her combat suit. "He" has saved her life A LOT!) She's just had to deal with gang members who think their tough until they see someone with a bigger/faster gun then what they are holding. Plus some guys that had to put in their places cause they were harassing Dawson and Kidd. Other then that, everything has been pretty quiet which worries her. It most always gets calm and quiet before a storm hits, terrorists are just like storms.
Everyone returns to the Firehouse after responding to a house fire. It's been a long shift and everyone is tired. Engine, Truck, Squad, the Chief and Ambulance 61 slowly pulls into the stalls. Shaylynn parks out front of the Firehouse were a special place has been saved for her. She gets out of her SUV and notices that Antonio is waiting on her.

Her and Antonio have been dating for almost a month. Hank is basically biting his tongue about them dating, but when he, and everyone else (thanks to Casey spilling the beans to Dawson during some pillow talk), found out that Severide and Shaylynn hooked up the same night they met he was not happy about that and has kept his mouth shut about Antonio and her dating. Shaylynn walks over to Antonio and he kisses her. Right at that moment Severide looks outside and sees them. He becomes furious and storms inside to the common area. "I need to talk to you. Do you have some time so we can take a drive and talk?" Antonio asks Shaylynn. "Sure. Just let me tell the Chief I will be back in a little bit. Okay." Shaylynn walks up the Firehouse driveway and up to Boden and tells him she'll be right back. She walks back down the driveway and gets in the car with Antonio and they proceed to drive away. Antonio pulls into a parking lot that faces the lake, gets out and walks to the front of the car and leans on it. Shaylynn follows. "What's on your mind?" Shaylynn asks Antonio. "I really don't know how to say this" Antonio says looking out over the lake. "Antonio, we are both adults. Just say what ever you have to say." "Okay, here goes. Laura came back and wants to try and work things out. She wants to try and get the family back together" he tells Shaylynn while looking at her. "That's great, Antonio!" Shaylynn is happy for him, but of course she is a little depressed. But she would never stand in the way of a family trying to get back together. God knows, she would love to have her little family back together, but that is physically impossible. Antonio looks at her confused. "You're really happy for me?" "Of course I am Antonio! Should I not be happy for you?" "I just thought with us dating things would be different." "You have a chance to get your family back together. Take it!" Shaylynn looks at her phone to see what time it is. "Oh, I better get back." "Okay, let's get going" Antonio says while walking back to get into the car.
Antonio pulls up in front of the Firehouse, "Good luck, Antonio!" Shaylynn tells him and gives him a kiss on the cheek. She gets out and heads up the driveway. Antonio pulls away thinking that went better then what he thought it was going to. Shaylynn walks into the Firehouse.
