The next day it was much later in morning when you woke up. The sun was streaming through your window lighting up the room. You rolled over to look at the time. It was nearly 9:00.
You yawned loudly and got out of bed. It took you the usual time to wash up and get dressed. Nobody else was here when you stepped into the kitchen. You picked up a note on the counter.
Taking care of some things.
Don't do anything stupid.

You rolled your eyes and let the note slip from your fingers before grabbing a light breakfast and heading out the door. You weren't really sure what you were going to do yet. So you chose to simply walk around town until you saw a familiar face. It didn't take long until you saw Demyx stepping out of his house dressed in his work uniform.
"Morning Demy!" You called out.
He smiled when he saw you and walked towards you.
"Hey [Name], what are you doing?"
You shrugged, "Don't really know yet. Are you heading to work?"
He nodded, "Yeah I work at Music Music in the mall."
You smiled, "Mind if I walk with you to the mall?"
Demyx face broke out into a innocent smile, "Of course! I mean- No! Well I don't mind at all. You can walk with me!"
You giggled at him as he stumbled over his words. He blushed a light shade of pink as you both headed towards the mall. It focused you as to why he acted so nervous around you. He liked Dawn now didn't he?
Demyx kept the walk to the mall from being awkward by keeping the conversation flowing smoothly. It was only every once in a while when he'd stumble over a word or blush.
Once in the mall you continued to walk with him until the two of you were standing in front of Music Music. Before walking in though Demyx stopped you.
"[Name], have we met before?" He asked.
You could feel your heart begin to beat faster. Could it be? By some miracle did he remember now? You felt yourself lost for words. You opened your mouth to speak but realized you couldn't.
"I know it sounds dumb but I just feel like I know you already, or that I should know you. Does that make sense?" He scratched the base of his neck.
You dumbly nodded, "It makes perfect sense. Demyx I-"
"Demyx!" A voice yelled from inside the store.
"Oops sorry [Name] I have to go we can finish talking about this later." Demyx smiled and leaned over to kiss you on the cheek.
Your could feel your face heat up and watched as a look of shock and embarrassment washed over Demyx's face.
"I'm so sorry I didn't even know what I was-" Demyx stumbled out.
"Demyx!" The voice yelled again.
"Bye!" He called out before running into the store.
It took you a moment before you could move again. The kiss was a big shock but was it a good sign? It meant he was remembering you, at least that's what you assumed. After taking a deep breath you began to walk the length of the mall passing through the crowd. You didn't even realize you were wandering towards Cid's shop until you were standing right in front of it. Without a second thought you stepped in and began to look around.
