"Sounds serious bro.. What's up?" I asked Miles as I sat down. 
                          
"I need in.."
                          
"In? Need in where?"
                          
"I need to be back in the game. Just for a few."
                          
I looked at him. Miles never ever asked to trap when we used to trap. It was me that kept pushing him to. He also never spent the money he earned he was the true definition of a stack and maintain kind of guy.
                          
"You need money? I can give you..." I said trying to see if that was a better option. 
                          
"Nah... I need more than what you can give. I need it quickly too."
                          
"What's going on? You seem a bit different bro."
                          
"Pfft well seeing as Monique told her sister and my sister I may as well tell you. Moniques pregnant..." Miles said. 
                          
I smiled.
                          
"Congrats my brother!" I said giving him a bro hug. 
                          
"Thanks man. This is why I need this money. I need to go from working for someone to have people working for me. I need a steady income. Monique now has 3 jobs. I know she's going to want to work all of them till she can buy I'm not really feeling that. Also I have money but once I start dipping into it it's going to get low. I need a way to start a business that can not only put back that money but can have me living right. I basically have nine months if not less... And no legit way will make me that type of money." He said as he lit his spliff. 
                          
"Okay so let's say you get the money. How you going to start a business at the age of what twenty? With a basic salary; even if you never touched one penny of your wages that still wouldn't make enough to pay for your own business." I said as he passed me the spliff 
                          
"I'll ask Lisa, or someone who could start up a business. I'll run them the money." He said. 
                          
I nodded my head. He had clearly thought this through. 
                          
"Ite... Well Ima bring you in. But once you make the amount you need I'm pulling the plug on you. I don't even dabble in it myself like I used to. But just like you I want to start my own business. So I get you. So we can do it together."
                          
"I knew you would come through for me. Love bro. Love." Miles said as he turned on the Xbox for a game of Fifa. 
                          
For the rest of the day we chilled and smoked. I then brought him in with the new guys I did business with. They gave him some work immediately which was good because that meant his money could start building back up. 
                          
I was hoping Monique wouldn't find out because I know how she is and with the both of us in the game she would definitely have a hissy fit. 
                          
Since I took part in the children's day in the estate I have been following through with the plans I had. I was telling Chanel about it and was glad she was on board to help me. 
                          
I was waiting for her outside her house when she came out looking at me with a not so happy face. 
                          
"What's up Nelly?"
                          
"You tell me..." She said dryly. 
                          
"What's wrong?"
                          
"Nothing."
                          
"You was never good at being able to lie you know."
                          
"Word is going around we are sleeping together... Now I was confused. I thought it was going around because you was telling people that. But it turns out people think that because you was seen going to the clinic in the estate..." She told me. 
                          
I rubbed my face with my hands. 
                          
"I was in the clinic because as you well remember I slept with Amber. Who as you told me had Herpes. I had forgot to go the time you told me and then I saw her the other day. That's when I remembered and there and then I went to the clinic. What I don't get is if you know I'm not the one telling people we slept together then why are you mad?"
                          
"I'm not mad... But you could have gone to another one. You go to this one and got everyone talking." She said as she bit her lip. 
                          
I smiled. She was lying. She always bit her lip when she was nervous or lying.
Maybe she was jealous? I thought to myself. 
                          
"Well my bad. I'll make sure not to make the same mistake twice." I told her. 
                          
"Mmmhmm... So what's the plans for today?"
                          
"Just wanted to go over the plans for the new community."
                          
"Oh... No ones told you?"
                          
"Told me what?"
                          
"They are trying to knock down the whole of kites. After our successful children's day the area now seems appealing to people to try and make into something better than an area for those less fortunate. Anyway there's a big protest and Lisa said things are looking up in our favour but for now all plans are on hold." She said.
                          
To say I felt defeated was an understatement. I felt like I was finally trying to do something right and someone was trying to prevent that. 
                          
"So what we going to do now?"
                          
"I don't know, but today I don't want to be no ones mother, sister, carer whatever. I just want to have a day for me." She said. 
                          
I nodded. 
                          
"Come on then let's go." I told her. 
                          
We drove to the arcade I thought this would definitely make her happy because I know she loved playing games.
                          
"Oh yeah now you're talking!" She said realising where we were.
                          
For an hour we played before we got hungry and decided to grab some food. 
                          
"Thanks C... This is just what I needed."
                          
"No problem. I ain't done this in ages either so I'm enjoying also." I said honestly. 
                          
"When do you get your result?" She asked throwing me off.
                          
"Huh?"
                          
"For your checkup..."
                          
"Oh.. Should be this week if not next."
                          
"Okay, can't believe you have left it so long from when I told you."
                          
"To be honest I did have a lot going on. Then I forgot. But when I saw her it then registered that I never went to get checked. So I did as soon as I remembered." I told her.
                          
"Well let's hope you are all clear. I would hate to have to beat a bitch..."
                          
"You would fight her?"
                          
"Yes... You my boy. Like I'm over everything that's happened. You have been there for me at my real lowest. Sheeeeiittt you went jail for me to be free. The past is now the past and your one of my closest people. I would say your like a big bro but that's a no no but you get my drift."
                          
I laughed. I'm glad she knows she couldn't refer to me as no damn big brother. I kind of felt bad keeping the pregnancy bit from her but I wasn't trying to ruin my chances with her. Because believe it or not I saw that with Rico out the way, me and Nelly getting together was looking more likely...
