Several years later...

~ Dylan's POV ~

My heart was hammering in my chest. This is it. It is the day I get to marry my one and only.

I walked around the church, thinking of the names we can give our dozen children. I laughed at myself when someone interrupted my thoughts.

"Care to share what you're laughing at?"

Brendon, Kim's dad, my soon to be father in law, asked.

I flushed, clearly embarrassed. I thought of something to tell him because I sure wasn't gonna tell him what I just thought about.

"Nothing, nothing." I nervously chuckled.

We sat down on a bench just behind the church and Kath's dad started talking.

"You better treat my daughter right or else you will suffer."

He said in all seriousness.

"I will, sir."

"Don't call me that. Call me dad. Since you're getting married today anyway, its like practicing."

I laughed, "okay, dad."

"I want you to promise me that you will do anything to make your marriage the best one as possible and to always take care of each other."

"I promise."

"And I know my little Katherine can be really stubborn sometimes but I want you to put up with her. Just always cherish your time with each other."

"I will, dad." I said seriously.

He smiled at me and looked at his watch.

"Well you'd better get inside the church, not long now til Katherine comes. And you'd have to greet the guests."

"Yeah, okay."

I stood up, ready to walk away when he stopped me.

"One more thing, I'm happy she's met you." He smiled sincerely kind.

~ Kath's POV ~

"You look gorgeous! He's mouth is seriously going to drop when he sees you!"

My best friend stood by me, in front of the mirror.

"Thanks Sophie." I hugged her.

"Everything is set." Mum said.

I turned around and smiled.

Sophie excused herself so mum and I can talk privately.

"So this is real. You're really going to get married." She sighed.

"Naw, mummy. I'll always still be your little girl."

"I know. I know. I just can't believe my little girl is all grown up, ready to marry a lovely guy."

I hugged her and she gently held my shoulder as she pulled away.

"Just promise me you'd always call and visit us during holidays."

"Yes mum, I promise."

We hugged one last time before getting called to the car.

"Sorry to interrupt, but the car is waiting."
