Harry:
Tomorrow was your boyfriend Harry’s sister Gemma’s birthday. Harry’s family was throwing a surprise party for her at his family home. Harry and you had procrastinated on buying her gifts, so here you were the day before her birthday shopping for just the right present. You and Gemma were very close friends and you knew exactly what she would want. When you got in the store you told Harry you’d be at the jewelry display section and if he wanted to come along you would be glad to give him some pointers on what his sister would want from him. You found the exact pearl bracelet Gemma had marveled over when you went shopping with her 2 weeks ago. It had a tiny charm hanging from the clasp that had her birth stone on it.
“She’s going to love it!” You said, thanking the employee. You looked at Harry who was absorbed in looking at Rolex watches.
“Harry!” You snapped.
“Yes, love?” He looked up at you.
“You’re supposed to be shopping for Gemma.” You reminded him.
“I am.” He said.
“Your sister does not like Rolex watches, now come here and I’ll help you!” You pulled him away from the watches and to the section with diamond necklaces.
“This one would be perfect. And you can have the back engraved.” You smiled. The necklace you were showing him had a tiny metal circle with a diamond in the center.
“Are you sure?” He asked.
“Positive.” You assured him. He bought the necklace and you two walked back to his car.
“Now, what would you do without me?” You smiled, joking with him.
“I honestly do not know. Thank you, babe.” He replied and kissed you passionately before opening your door for you.
Niall:
“I have an adorable idea!” You exclaimed with a smile on your face to your boyfriend Niall. You had just stopped at Starbucks and were now driving to find a store where you could buy supplies to make home-made Halloween costumes. And of course, you wanted something that corresponded.
“What, babe?” Niall asked.
“Katniss and Peeta!” you told him.
“Katniss and Peeta?” He repeated with a questioning tone.
“Yes, Katniss and Peeta!” You confirmed, excitedly.
“Alright…as long as it makes you happy and I can be Katniss.” Niall said with a wink.
“Yay! And I wanted to be Peeta anyway.” You told him, jokingly. You thought about how you two would get pants and shirts and jackets like Katniss and Peeta wore during the actual Hunger Games. And you would wear a Mocking Jay pin just like Katniss’ and put your hair in a braid how Katniss wore hers for the games. And you’d gel Niall’s hair down to look like Peeta’s. You two had decided that you would decorate your shared home for Halloween and stay home most of the day tending to trick-or-treaters. You knew there would practically be a mob scene at your home specifically, as many teenage girls and even some boys knew who lived there. You already had an entire stock full of 50 large bags of Halloween candy. Well, 49 now, after you and Niall ate one bag.
“Let’s even decorate the front of the house with Hunger Games décor and make a huge banner that says ‘May the odds be ever in your favor’ and wear our Katniss and Peeta costumes when we tend to trick-or-treaters!” You told Niall happily.
“Sounds good.” He said chuckling.
“Oh and don’t forget, we have Harry’s house party Halloween night.” Niall reminded you.
