{Song in video: JoJo - This Time}
The next day was hard for me. I was dreading to go to school, especially with what happened yesterday.
I saw Raj when I entered the hallway. I sighed to myself, knowing that I should try talking things out with him now. "Hey," I said cheerfully, grinning at him.
"Hi," Raj said coldly, throwing his backpack over his shoulder.
I gave him a weird look, crossing my arms. "Okay...you've been in a weird mood since yesterday. You didn't even say bye when you left. Is everything okay?"
"I don't know, maybe you should ask Joey." He started walking away.
At this point, I was so confused. "What are you talking about?"
He shook his head, and kept walking.
Well that was very weird.
The bell for first period rang, and I was debating whether I should skip or not. I really didn't want to deal with anything. "Don't even think about it. You're going to class," Remi said as her, Lauren, and Takara came up to me. She grabbed my arm, and dragged me.
"I can't!" I exclaimed, trying to pull away.
"You're being ridiculous! Just talk things out with him." She kept trying to drag me to class, but I clung onto Lauren.
"Ugh, I tried but he acted weird this morning and blew me off." I turned my head, looking at Lauren and Takara. "Help!"
"Sorry Kace, but you do have to go to class," Lauren said, giving me a sympathetic look. "We're taking you to class."
"They're right, and maybe you should try talking to him later and let him cool off," Takara said, shrugging. "Now I have to go to my class, I'll see you later." She gave me a sympathetic look, and walked away.
Lauren and Remi both dragged me to class. From the corner of my eye, I could tell Raj was there, but I didn't dare make eye contact with him. Unfortunately, we still sat by each other since Mr. Bentley said whatever seat we chosen is the seat we will sit at for the rest of the year. He sat in front of me. Throughout the class, he kept sighing and brushing his hair back. He even looked back at me a few times, but he didn't look happy. I couldn't even concentrate the whole time because of him. I wished Mr. Bentley didn't make that stupid rule about the seats.
I didn't have Raj in my next few classes, but I sat in the library during lunch. I knew my friends were wondering where I was, but I just wanted to be alone, away from everyone and everything.
Just then, Lauren, Felix, Remi, and Takara came in the library. Raj wasn't with them though, not that that was a surprise.
"What?" I asked them, looking confused.
"Okay, so I tried talking to Raj-" Lauren started to say, but I cut her off.
"What did he say?" I blurted out.
"He acted weird, and said everything was fine." She sighed. "I know it's not though. You two should really talk things out."
"Ugh, I tried but he's been icing me out. Which is weird because I'M the one that should be doing that, not him!"
"Calm down, Kace, it's probably some weird misunderstanding-" Felix started to say.
"Don't ever tell a girl to calm down!" I pointed at him.
"Take it easy, Kace," Takara said, giving me a look.
I took a deep breath and sighed. "I'm sorry guys, I'm just overwhelmed with everything happening."
