Disappointed.

Steph was just down right disappointed. Benched for two games, the Warrior's point guard sat with his head in his hands court side. He watched as his teammates warmed up for the 4th game in the nba playoffs against the Rockets.

A gust of air rushed pass him, his reflexes urging him to see what causes it. To his far left stood the athletic trainer dresses in her regular game day attire. Dark blue blazer over a fitted white blouse that tucked into her black skinny jeans. So professional, Steph thought as his eyes raked over her figure.

Sitting back he watched her every move. How she glided from player to player, making sure they were good. He also noticed how each and everyone of them glanced at her ass or chest. It made him angry, no one but him should look at her that way. She sway back and fourth while talking to Klay, laughing at everything he said and it made Stephen's blood boil. How could he be so jealous of his best friend? The final buzzer cried out everyone took their seat, ready for the game to begin.

"I know my ankle this and ankle that, but I still wanna play."

"I understand, but you have to see it longterm. I want you to be able to play for a long time." She said, walking over towards the 6 foot 3 inch man. Placing a soft hand on his shoulder she calmed him. Allowing him to melt into her gentle touch.

"Yeah.."

"Don't be upset. You're cleared for next game." She confessed, not being able to hold the news in any longer.

"Really?" Stephen asked with excitement in his voice.

"Mhm.."

"That's possibly the best news I've heard all day." He gave in, turning fully to look at the woman. His hand moving to rest on the middle of her back. His lips attached to her neck, sucking slowly as he backed her to the wall. Small moans escaped her, filling the room.

"Stephen we can't.." She whispered weakly, though her body hardly showed signs of wanting him to stop.

"But baby." His hands leaving hot trails up and down her spine.

"W-we could get caught." And they could. Not only by Stephen's teammates but also his wife. The two have been sneaking around for so long it's become second nature. Sighing, Stephen backed off and allowed the woman to situate her clothes. Walking over to the table, the young trainer caught her breath. Almost having to fan herself.

"We can't keep doing this Steph. We're getting reckless, damn near ripping each others clothes off in public!" She expressed, trying her hardest to sound convincing. There was a long pause, allowing both parties to think clearly.

"Fine." Stephen offered after what seemed like eons. The door opened and closed in one quick motion, leaving her alone with her thoughts.

Today Stephen was cleared to play and he was ready. He warmed up and felt great, ready to take on the Houston Rockets with the rest of his teammates. Bending down to tie his shoes he heard the faint clicks of high heels rushing towards something.

"Klay!" Her sweet voice called out as she rushed to meet up the light skinned male.

"You forgot this!" she exclaimed pushing a small band in his hand.

"Thanks!" He kissed her cheek. Watching it all in front of him Stephen grew aggravated, he hated seeing her with any other man that wasn't him. When he agreed to leave her alone he didn't think it would be this hard. He didn't think he would want to be next to her all the time, he didn't think he needed her as much as he did.

Gathering himself he made his way towards her not caring that they were out in public, not caring that everyone could see. He just wanted to be next to her, smell her perfume that lingered on some of his clothes.

"Hey." He whispered gaining her attention.

"Mr. Curry.." She looked off to the side, trying not to make eye contact with her ex lover.

"Don't be like that.." He touched her elbow, guiding her to look at him.

"Like what?" She bit. Her voice showing her true frustration.

"Don't be mad at me.."

"I'm not, now go! You have a game to win." She hushed him, walking in the direction of the court. Groaning, Stephen followed behind.

He fell.

He fell and her breath caught in her throat. She watched as it all happened in what seemed like slow motion. He just got cleared she thought to herself. Before she knew what she was doing she was by his side in an instant. Questions flowing from her lips like liquid.

"Where does it hurt?"

"Can you stand?"

"Move you leg for me."

"C'mon Steph!"

Worry stitched on her face as he gripped his leg in pain. This couldn't be happening again, he just got cleared! Strong men carried him off the court, hauling him back into the locker room with her hot on his trail. Once they sat him down she moved in to do her job. Stephen yelped in pain when she put a bit too much pressure on his injury. "M'sorry!" She whispered, touching his hand lightly. Though Stephen was in pain he saw how wound up she was.

"Don't worry about it.." The room was empty with the exception of the both of them. Their eyes locked together, both holding this intense gaze.

"I should've waited another game to play.." Stephen offered, bringing her closer to him.

"I should've suggested you wait.." She breathed, her heart thudding wildly in her chest. Stephen chuckled. "I wouldn't have listened.." He said before their lips met in a heated kiss. His hands wound into her hair, pulling her waist to the edge of the table he sat on.

The door creaked open and Ayesha popped her head in, tears running down her cheeks. The pair had departed moments before she could see. "I was so worried about you babe!" His wife ran over to him, kissing his lips that were pressed against anothers just a few short moments ago.

"I'm fine.." He reassured, eyes never leaving the young trainers.

"I hope so!" Ayesha exclaimed with her arms tossed around his shoulders.

"I promise I'm in good hands." He winked over, sending chills down his athletic trainers spine.
