Wesley's Point of ViewAs Alexander arrived at the Badass room, Kyler left. It seemed like they didn't cross paths as he was looking for Kyler. Why are they both so busy now? I still need to prepare for the party tomorrow.
Alexander sat at his table and leaned back in his swivel chair. From the look on his face, he was clearly in a good mood. Kyler also mentioned seeing Alexander and Aesha at the playground. It seems like they're getting closer to each other.
"Where's Kyler?" he asked. Justine and I looked at him, then exchanged glances.
"We should be the ones asking that. You weren't here this morning. Where did you go?" Justine asked. Alexander chuckled, catching our attention.
"I just had something important to attend to," Alexander said, a smile evident on his face.
"Did you just 'attend' something or 'earn' something? You saw Aesha, didn't you?" I teased. He just laughed. "Pssh, do you like Aesha?" I asked. He looked at me seriously, then suddenly smiled and shrugged. "I don't understand you, Alexander. You know the consequences of your decision. We don't want what happened to repeat." I leaned back in the swivel chair.
"What if someone else tries to pursue Aesha?" Justine asked seriously.
"I won't allow it"
"But she's not yours, and you don't know if she likes you," Justine said. "They may have similarities, but they're still different," he added.
"She'll be mine. She likes me. I can see it in her eyes," he said, locking eyes with Justine and me. He seemed too desperate to get Aesha. But it couldn't happen because the past might repeat itself.
Alexander had a fiancée whom he hid from his parents. He kept his impending marriage a secret. He made decisions without permission, and only we knew about it. He deeply loved that girl, and Kyler loved her too. Kyler gave way for our friendship's sake because he thought it was right for Alexander. Alexander changed because of that girl.
"Alright, it's up to you if that's what you want to do we won't meddle, but we're warning you if your parents find out about this, Aesha will be endangered," Justine said. "Let's change the subject. Noona's here." Alexander's eyes widened, and we burst into laughter.
"Are you sure? Just now?" we laughed even louder. Alexander was always scared of Hope.
"Yeah, she arrived yesterday, and you didn't even cross paths at home?" I said, laughing. "There's a party tomorrow."
"why did she have to come... of all times? "Because of what he said, we laughed even harder. Damn! Alexander. Alexander Mendez Henderson is his full name. Hope is his half-sister through their mom. He's really afraid of Hope because she's the only one who can put him in his place. She's the only one who hurt Alex physically. He can't fight against his sister. We used to adore her, but my perception of her changed when I became a teenager. That's when I realized I didn't just like her as our older sister, I have loved her since then. Our age gap isn't that wide. There's also a saying that age doesn't matter. Alexander has no idea about my feelings for his sister. Only Justine and Kyler know.
Alexander stood up from his swivel chair and left the Badass room directly. Justine and I exchanged glances and then laughed.
"Alexander hasn't changed at all when it comes to Noona," I laughed.
"Oh, by the way, do you think Kyler will do something about you know-- you know?" Justine asked. I shrugged.
"Oh, I brought some chicks for tomorrow," he said, nudging me.
