"Hi are you Logan" a girl said pointing at me. "it depends WHO's asking?" i asked smiling ha-ha shes probably annoyed. "it depends are you Logan?" she asked sarcastically has my smile instantly turned into a frown. "IT DEPENDS WHO WANTS TO KNOW" I screamed. "IT DEPENDS ARE YOU Logan?" She screamed basically we went on for a while. "SHUT UP LOGAN!" she finally screamed."how do u know I'm Logan?" i asked with my arms crossed. she let out a sigh and sat down. "just are you Logan? not like i don't know the answer" she said i just nodded. "now who are you?" i asked. "I'm a friend of jacks and i heard about you and...." she paused to look around then came up and whispered "you need to escape." she said i gave her a puzzled look. "you need to go. find your wife your daughter you don't deserve this" she explained.
                          
Mercy's P.O.V (AHHHHHHHHH super exited finally her pov)
                          
i listened throw the door its been five days since we have been here. is my dad really coming back? maybe ill ask she wouldn't lie to me right? "mommy?" i asked as soon as she walked out of the room. "is daddy coming back?" i asked trying not to show the tears in my eyes hoping for the truth. she bent down and put her hand on my shoulder. "sweetie they are trying but they don't think he's coming back." she paused to look at me tears in her eyes and i felt them in mine. "they are trying but if he does not anytime soon...........I'm sorry." she said pulling me into a hug crying. hugging her back i felt a tear escape before my face was soaked. "mercy its time for bed tomorrow we will be going back home. i will take down the decorations if you don't want to." she said sternly but still with care. "listen this is a very tough situation for all of us OK? i need you to be strong. OK? can you do that?" she asked bending down with one hand on my shoulder. I nodded then she pulled me into another hug.
                          
When we woke up we packed to leave. my mom said we could go out to eat since.....well you know. i got steak, corn, and mash potato's. For dessert i got molting lava cake.YUMMY! "mom?" i said in a small voice. "yes? what is it sweetie?" she said with concern. "why don't we try and get daddy back?" i asked cared and afraid. "because we cant he's somewhere in the middle of the ocean and we'd get shot at are first sight. I'm sorry but, there's nothing we can do" she said picking me up and carrying me out."i love you" she said kissing me cheek. why cant we get daddy back? i mean really! someone could take us to the ship,and if they cant I'm a good swimmer! right? it would be soooooooo easy! when we finally got home mommy told me to play outside for a little bit while she takes everything down. all of a sudden i saw Ruby walking down the street to are house. she had a plate of chocolate cupcakes in a small basket.
                          
"Ruby" I said as she was about to knock at the door. "oh Hello Mercy." she said bending down smiling. "how was the trip?" she asked still with a smile on her face. all at once i started crying when my mom heard me she ran outside. "What happened!??! she asked alarmed then turning around to see Ruby. "oh hi" she said picking me up comforting me. "i-I'm sorry all i did was ask how the trip went and..I'm sorry" she said. "he didn't come back." mommy said loud and clearly holding in her feelings. "he got captured by the other ship. if hers coming back its not anytime soon but that's a pretty big if they said." Lucy explained when she was done Ruby told us she was so sorry. "Mercy do you want a cupcake there your favorite." she said with a fake smile on her face. "....ok" i said smiling grabbing a cupcake and eating all of it.  her cupcakes are the best! always count on Ruby to help you feel better."
                          
Later that day mom took me out of school for the rest of the year, since it was almost over she thought it'd be best. "mom." i said as she looked down. "I'm scared am i ever going to see daddy?.....and I'm scared mommy i don't know what to do how am i suppose to handle this?" i stopped as i felt tear rising in my eyes and pulled me in for a hug. "what am i suppose to do i just found out my dad who i barely met will probably never come back. i don't know what to do right now. my feelings just changed in a blink of an eye and i don't know how to handle this. i try to have fun. try to do stuff to make me laugh or even smile but i cant that thought will just come back to my mind and i cant control it! i cant control anything anymore it feels like"i stopped realizing i was now curled up in a ball with my mom hugging mesobbing louder then ever. "i cant do this but i-i don't know how to even put an end to thisI'M STUCK AN-AN-AND i JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE!" i finally stopped as my mom looked at me in concern.
