Chanyeol finally let go of Baekhyun and Baekhyun pulled his hand back, looking anywhere but Chanyeol's eyes. 
                          
Sehun and Dara came back and Sehun suddenly bursted out in laughter. Baekhyun turned to look at the colour haired boy with a weird look on his face.
                          
"Oh, sorry..." Sehun apologized. "I just remembered something really funny."
                          
Sehun looked at Baekhyun's hand and raised an eyebrow. "You already took off your ring?" 
                          
"Oh... It's in the trash can becau—"
                          
"You just threw away our couple ring?" Sehun asked incredulously and Baekhyun tried to correct him. 
                          
"No! I—"
                          
"Wow Baekhyun," Sehun rolled his eyes, and even though he was joking around with Baekhyun, the smaller thought Sehun was being genuine.
                          
Now it was Chanyeol's turn to burst out in laughter, laughing in Baekhyun's face. 
                          
Baekhyun frowned and smacked Chanyeol's head, cursing him to hell and back. 
                          
Even after Chanyeol ruined their plan of matching rings, Baekhyun couldn't help but feel happy whenever Yoda laughed. 
                          
And even if Baekhyun didn't realize it, he fell even harder for Chanyeol.

Sunday passed by quickly, with Baekhyun sitting on his couch the entire day, going on YouTube and Instagram. 
                          
Eventually, Monday rolled around and after calling Sehun, they had a plan. 
                          
The plan was simple, really. All they needed to do was hang out with each other a ton and talk about anything and everything. 
                          
Baekhyun stood in front of the mirror and took extra care to look amazing on that particular Monday. 
                          
After he was satisfied, he left the house after bidding his parents goodbye. 
                          
He met Sehun at the front just as planned, making sure the people of the school saw them hook arms together. 
                          
Yet again, they met Chanyeol and Dara together. 
                          
"Morning," Baekhyun greeted the two with a polite bow before continuing on to talk with Sehun about cats. 
                          
The entire time, Chanyeol watched their backs as the new couple walked away. 



                          
The whole time during basketball practice, Baekhyun made sure not to make eye contact with Chanyeol, only ever talking to Sehun. 
                          
Now, the boys were changing in the change room, chatting about upcoming games or tests. 
                          
"Baekhyun," Chanyeol called once they all exited the change room. 
                          
The smaller simply ignored him as he walked beside Sehun. 
                          
"Baekhyun," Chanyeol said sternly yet Baekhyun didn't give up. 
                          
Baekhyun was turned around by a hand on his shoulder and for the first time in that day, he stared at Chanyeol's eyes. 
                          
"What do you want?" Baekhyun asked with clear irritation in his voice.
