Note: The Hallucantus Somnium Tree is not an actual tree in the TES universe. I made something up for this chapter.
So, yeah ill leave you at that. I won't bore you with
'The food was lavish and Bleh Bleh Bleh."Throughout my years, I often went to my friend Thryn's house. It was nice to not be around high class rich things and people all the time. Honestly, I got sick of it. Hannis, always throwing parties, Mother Valaria, and her shopping. She said she never needed a husband. She would tend to avoid guys. In fear they'd just want her money.
Anyways, I hate to talk about money. Let's get to the real point of this chapter.
After I was about twenty, I have been training with weapons for eight years now. I was extremely good with bows, swords and axes alike. I decided to leave Hammerfell and move to Morrowind, because I've heard the Telvanni were amazing with magic and I wanted to learn with them. I said goodbye to Hannis, and Valaria.
I left for Morrowind, I used the Guild Guide in the local Mages Guild, to teleport me to Vvardenfell. I had a settlement in mind to travel to. The locals suggested that I join the Mages Guild first. So I joined them, I learned the basics in magic, and gradually I started to build off of what I learned. Soon, I surpassed the people in the Guild, I was offered the spot as Arch-Mage but I turned it down. I left and I built off of what I learned. Magic, I began to focus and study it. I spent most of my time with magic, dealing with the Telvanni. Until I was about 27, I learned fast. I was extremely proficient and knew alot.Okay enough basic I, I, I, I, I congratulations if you have reached this far without leaving this book. I'm proud of you. Let's stop talking about myself, again. This isint about me, its more about my life. Anyways...
Let's go to the time I was about 30 I found immortality through magic, also I became a vampire and cured myself, but I kept the immortality aspect.
I will continue this... In third person. To much "I"After leaving the Telvanni, Wodin went back to Hammerfell, and lived near where he used to. The upper-class district in the city he grew up in. He spent his time training, and getting in shape. His time with the Telvanni, he didn't get to use weaponry that much. So he enjoyed having an axe in his hand once again. Wodin's goal was to gain strength and proficiency in weapons and magic.
Wodin decided to go to Black Marsh, despite all the harsh things he has heard about it. It was a stupid decision on his end... And almost ended his life.
As Wodin walked through the outskirts of Argonia. He casted an strong desease and posion resist spell on himself, thinking that would help. He walked into the dense, ravenous, posionus, jungle. A strange tree appeared before him, he walked through it. Instantly, he fell to the floor. Straight into a dense pile of toxic dust. He got up, resisted the posion, but failed. He ran through, hardly able to breathe. Gaping for air, he tripped onto a log with flesh bugs. Slowly they crawled up on to him as he ran. He nearly blacked out, the normal person would be dead. But Wodin was strong. He forced through, dragging himself across the ground he inhaled and startied puking mushroom spores. His vision was blurry. He tried using an Intervention spell but he couldnt pull the mindset to think straight. Now, gaping on air. Living only on the last fumes of his large magicka supply. His magicka drained, dry. 3...2...1... He blacked out. Laying there, lies his lifeless body.
(gibberish in background)
Wodin revived himself, but due to his incredibly weak state. Still couldnt move, he could only hardly see out of his left eye."Kern-Ne! Look here!"
"Ye- Oh- Euhh- You.. certianly look like shit"
Still laying almost lifeless on the ground, Wodin tried to speak back but could hardly gasp. Still with his vision blurry. Kern-Ne waved his hand over Wodins eyes..
"Sleep"
Wodin woke up at a healer temple near Cyrodiil. His body, sore with pain. Kern-Ne walked over.
"Dont try coming deep into Black Marsh ever again. You could have died. Im surprised you pulled through. Most people wouldn't last that far. You were in one of the worst parts of the jungle as well"
"D..d Did you save me?" Wodin said softly
"No, Ja-Ro did. He rushed you here"
"Thank him for me"
"Will Do"
"Hey, I saw a tree. I walked through that, what was it?"
"Ohh, the Hallucinating Illusion Tree. It's one of the first things most non-Argonians see once they enter the forest, it causes powerful hallucinations and can almost instantly kill some people, I'm surprised you lived through it, you're the first.. how?"
"I.. I'm tired, let me sleep. I'll get back to you on that,"
Wodin was strong enough in this state to heal himself. All he needed to do was rest. He looked at his legs and there were deep gashes, they didnt look infected anymore though. His arms were full of slashes, poision marks, whatnot. He looked down at his chest and stomach. His chest was covered in red spore marks. His stomach had faint stab marks. Then...
"Dammit, by the gods... Leave me some respect."
Wodin realised he was laying there naked. The Healer walked in
"Hello! I'm Deej-Neeus. Ill be your healer and ill get you back to health in about 3 weeks. In the mean time. Ill go grab you some clothes and some food. Ill be back in a bit!"
(15 minutes later Deej-Neeus comes in with ragged clothing and freshly Seasoned Salmon Steak and some Refined Apple Juice.)
"Here ya go! Ill be bac-"
Wodin was sleeping and Deej-Neeus noticed that most of his scars were gone and his wounds were almost fully recovered.
"back in a minute.."
Wodin woke up put on the ragged wear, or what he considered beggars clothes. Munched on the food and looked around.
