Six Months later
I laugh slightly as I look through the old dusty box of letters.
"Whatcha doin?" Dean asked as he came into our room and popped down on the bed next to me.
"Look at this." I say and point to a sentence I had wrote.
"The boogie man is real dude?" He asked with a laugh as he read the sentence, "What is this?"
"This is a box of letters that I wrote to him." I say while pulling out another one and reading over it, "I never really had the guts to give them to him y'know. He probably would have called me stupid."
"No he would not have." He said with a laugh, "He would have loved them."
I laughed slightly and laid back on him. Dean and I had been dating for a few months now. He wasn't Brock, in fact he was nothing like him, but in a away he was everything like him. He wasn't replacing Brock, but he was like, a mini him, except a little crazier.
"Hey." He said to me, "I got a surprise for you."
"What is it?" I ask him, "Gimmie."
"Close your eyes." He said to me and I did as he asked.
"One minute," he said and I heard shuffling, "Ok, open."
I opened my eyes and my jaw dropped at the sight of the ring in front of me.
"I know I'm not him." He said quietly, "And I may not ever be as good as he was to you, but I'm damn sure gonna try Nae.... If you give me the chance."
I nodded and tried to keep tears out of my eyes. I wasn't the emotional type, but I never expected this from him in all honestly.
"You're perfect Dean I promise." I say as I bury my head in his chest and wrap my arms around him tightly.
