Part IV: chapter 46- the dog days are over

                                    

                                          
I sat looking at my son asleep in front of me on the white sheets in me and Louis' room he was brushing his teeth as I petted Henry's hair back as the light traced his body making him look like an angel. He was so beautiful. 
I looked at Louis looking behind me, I felt Henry wrap his arm around my neck as I got up and his arms were wrapped around me as he laid asleep, Louis turned and laughed. 
"Our dear son" he said walking to me putting his arm around my waist and pushing back Henry's hair. 
Me and Louis were planned to get married in the winter, my divorce was finalized. It took 3 months for me to sign, and realize I couldn't be with Chuck when I loved Louis. 
Everytime he would ask I would object, until he made me sign, so we could have a legitimate wedding, I was divorced so I can become his princess. 
He stood beside me staring at me, as I looked at my darling boy. 
I wanted another child, a legitimate child with Louis, a heir. Or a princess, it wouldn't matter as long as we were happy. 
Chuck didn't discriminate when I asked him to sign. 
                          
He had given up all hope we were gonna get back together, and in that. He sat in his hotel room drinking. 
                          
I took Henry to see him, and he didn't recognize him Henry fell asleep in his arms as Chuck signed the divorce paper, a single tear fell and of pain and regret. 
I love everything about Chuck, but I needed to know how life was without him, how it was with Louis has it been since last December,  he put a piece of hair behind my ear at the door of his families, it was November. 
Snow was already falling, it was thanksgiving. 
"Hello." I said walking in to the ding of the elevator as lily and Rufus accompanied us, Lily took Henry, and Henry laughed. 
                          
"So when's the wedding?" Dan asked. 
                          
"December 12." Louis said. 
"Will it be big? Like Blair??" Lily asked Henry had in his hand a plush turkey. 
I shook my head. 
"It'll be small intimate." I said. 
"Oh good, that shows you care about each other and not about the spotlight Louis." Rufus said. I glared at him even though he didn't approve of me and Chuck he missed Chuck and I, the idea of two people so evil and bitter could find seldom love and sweetness in each other. 
We sat as Serena and everyone came. 



                          
Well well, looks like it's the end of Adelaide and Chuck. A Stealing Blairs Thunder as she marries Prince Louis this coming month, more like sister wives than sister sister, her divorce final with Chuck just 2 months after she gets engaged to her long running rendezvous with Prince Louis Grimaldi,  even having a baby with him. Precious Henry Bart Bass was Louis' all along with the impression Chuck was the father. Looks like Adelaide had too many to remember. And where's Nate now? Moping how he can never get the girl he wants even when they had sex at the ball? cest la vie. 
We heard from a source Adelaide wants to get pregnant again, from talking outside Saks 5th avenue. With her fiancée Louis. Will they make another Henry? Or mistake.
