MID SUMMER ISH
                          
 The stars were shining bright in the dark night sky. The moon was full and almost lit up everything. It was all so peaceful and quiet. If you were quiet enough and there was no one on the street making noise you were able to hear the crickets. 
                          
I have really begun to love sitting on the roof and looking out at the night sky. It's a great place to think plus it was just so beautiful. I'm going to miss doing this every night when I leave for Uni. Yes the campus was only about and hour away from here but I'm going to get my own apartment down there. 
                          
Oh god. I still need to find an apartment and soon. There's probably limited ones and they won't be ready for when I need it and oh god. 
                          
Okay no. 
                          
Not on the roof. 
                          
The roof is a stress free environment. 
                          
Worry about that later. 
                          
Just lay here. Just be here. Don't focus on that.
                          
Just be here. In this moment. 
                          
"It's so beautiful" I whispered staring up at the sky. "It's not the only thing that's beautiful." Niall whispered back. I looked over at him and smiled. The light of the moon lit up his face and shined on his features perfectly. 
                          
He sat up and looked down at me. "Would you like to dance?" He asked as he stood up. I sat up and looked up to him. "There's no music." I answered. "We'll make some, plus come on it's beautiful out here, the moon, the stars, the quiet, you." He smiled as he stuck out his hand which I gladly excepted and he pulled me to my feet.
                          
He wrapped his arms tightly around my waist holding me close. I placed my around his neck and they crossed over each other. We slowly rocked back and forth. Niall began to hum a familiar song into my ear. I lifted my head from the crook of his neck and brought my head back to look at him. "Are you humming Little Mix?" I asked in a whisper as a smile formed on my face. 
                          
"Maybe." He smiled before giving me a kiss on the noes. "You know that's my favourite song right?" I ask. "Yeah I know." He smiled before kissing my lips as we continued to rock. 
                          
Niall started to softly sing the lyrics into my ear "why can't I say that I'm in love I wanna shout it from the roof tops, I wish that it could be like that why can't it be like that?" I then join him and softly sing the next part in his ear "cause I'm yours."
                          
"Kenzie." Niall says. "Yeah?" I ask as my lips brush against the side of his neck. "I love you so fucking much and I will do whatever I have to do to make you know that, I'll shout it from this damn rooftop. I just love you so much" he says as we continue to dance on the roof of my house. I smile as he speaks and makes a reference to the song that he was just singing into my ear. "I know Niall, I know that you love me. You know that I love you so much right?" I ask. "Yeah,I know." He says giving me a kiss on the forehead. 
                          
I close my eyes and flash backs from when he first kissed me came to my thoughts. 
                          
*flash back*

                          
There was only a few seconds left in the game and it was tied. Niall got the ball and ran down to the net and got the goal.
                          
Almost everyone in the stands started cheering. Niall looked so happy and that made me really happy. 
                          
The rest of the team went out and joined them in the huddle. Suddenly Niall broke out of the huddle and began running toward the stands. 
                          
"What's he doing?" I asked Sophia. "I have no idea." She replied.
