Sam Evans.
We've been best friends since birth, practically. Our moms are both organic food freaks and they met in the supermarket while they were pregnant. I have an older sister, Haley, and Sam has a younger sister, Layla. We started playing soccer together when we were four and I quit when we were seven. Sam continued playing and is still playing now in high school. My point is that we're best friends. He was my first kiss, my first crush, my first date to a dance. We always had our birthday parties together since we're only two days apart. Anyway, now we're in high school. Sam and I are grownig up. I'm driving and getting good grades for college. He's hanging out and getting all the ladies to like him. But what happens when Sam gets ready to make a move on a girl ? Am I going to get my heart broken or have the surprise of the century?

I woke up to someone kissing my cheek. I blinked my eyes a few times and then realized who it was. "Sam!" I exclaimed. "Why are you here so early?"
"It's Monday and we're going to be late for school if you don't hurry up." Sam replied as he got off my bed. "Oh, and the spare house key is under that creepy porcupine statue in your front yard."
I laughed. "Get out of my room. I need to get ready."
"I've known you forever. Do I really need to leave?" He asked crossing his arms.
"Um, yes. I need to change!" I laughed.
My bedroom door opened. "Piper?" My mom called. "Who are you talking to?" She spotted Sam. "Oh, my bad. Hi, Sam."
"Hi, Mrs. Valdenegro." Sam waved.
"Why are you in my daughter's room this early in the morning?" Mom asked.
Sam smiled. "I was worried we were going to be late for school so I came over here to wake her up."
"It's six fifteen in the morning. How can you be worried that your going to be late is school starts at eight?" Mom was confused.
I walked over to the door and shooed mom out. "Please, go mother." I grumbled. "Please!"
Mom gave me a look and walked away. I shut the door and looked at Sam. He was laying on my bed.
"Hey there." He said. "Now I guess you have to change in front of me."
I groaned. "Whatever." I turned the other way and started changing. I took my tank top off and put on a clean bra and a nice flow-y tank top.
"That's cute." Sam said.
I turned around and put my hands on my hips. "Why are you watching me?"
Sam laughed. "Because I know you don't want me to."
"Shut up!" I stuck my tongue out at him.
He smiled. "Why do you have to be so damn cute?"
I giggled and turned around again. I pulled my shorts off, put some clean panties on and threw on some skinny jeans.
"You have a nice butt." Sam chimed in again.
I threw a shoe at him. "Shut up!"
"Whoa, Piper. Violence is not the answer." Sam thought he was so funny.
I slipped on some Toms and opened my door. "Come on, breakfast time."
Sam jumped up and ran downstairs with me. I nearly fell down the stairs. I screamed and Sam caught me.
"Do you really have to be that loud this early in the morning?" My sister, Haley, grumbled. She thought that since she was a Senior she was better than everyone.
