I licked my lips as they were suddenly dry, James had to be kidding.

"Are you serious?"

"Do I look like I'm joking?"

James did not look like he was joking at all. His face was set to a stony expression and appeared to be fed up with everything. I wasn't sure how I felt about traveling to Planet Niribu, I just didn't want to leave Finn by himself. I was still heartbroken by the fact that he left me by myself with James.

Was I wrong about Finn's feelings? Did he not care for me but instead toyed with me around? I felt so aggravated at Finn now, I thought he would've have come back for me by now.

"Come on, I have a car down the road. We can discuss more about this at the space station," James directed as he started to saunter down the road.

"Uh, space station?" I repeated questioningly as I caught up with him.

"Sapphire, my people technically control everything now."

I pouted realizing that the invasion had much more of an impact then I thought it did.

"Your people... they're across the planet?"

James sighed at this question.

"Unfortunately, almost half of your planet has been under my people's control. Attacks are probably happening right this instant."

I bit my lip hard and I thought I was going to start bleeding. The planet I always thought of home was going down and the person who was causing this had to be stopped which was Christopher.

Finally, we reached a shiny silver car with blood red rims. It looked like a Lamborghini and it was incredibly nice looking. It was angled in all the right places with tinted windows. I ran my fingertips against its silver color and it was a cold metallic touch.

"What kind of car is this," I murmured in amazement.

James smirked at me.

"Lamborghini Veneno."

My eyes went wide as this car must have been worth millions. However, I shouldn't be surprised that James got a hold of this car. He then pulled the keys out his pocket and unlocked the doors. James then came around to my side and opened the passenger door for me.

Such a gentlemen.

I sunk into the luxurious black leather as James shut the door. I rubbed my elbows knowing that I wasn't quite comfortable with James yet. There was an edge I felt around him and I always stood my ground, yet there was a small feeling of faith lingering inside of me. He then opened the driver's side and slide in.

"It's going to be a little bit of a long ride so make yourself at home," James mentioned.

I nodded as he started to turn on the car. Then in a matter of minutes we sped away on the road in a steady pace. James put the headlights on as well as the small lights inside the car. My eyes landed on my passenger window as I watched the oak trees zapped by us in the darkness. I made a silent goodbye to Finn not knowing if I was ever going to see him again, if this was a mistake and he was right.

A small tear slid down my cheek and I wiped it away quickly before James could take notice of it. I took a deep breath and just prayed Finn would be safe. After a couple of minutes, I became sleepy and started to drift into a deep sleep as I rested against my seat.

****

I awoke to the soft whispering voice of James as he gently shook my knee.

"Hmm?" I mumbled sleepily as I rubbed my eyes.
