It was a new start to her life. She moved to California with her parents. She only wishes that they actually love her and didn't just act like she doesn't even live with them. It pisses her off but it pisses them off even more.
They finally make it to their new home. Something about it didn't seem right to Fawn. She just didn't like the newly planted trees and the cobble pathway to the home. She just wishes to be back home with her friends. She is mute and her friends in Colorado understood that. She wants to cry but her dad yells at her to get out of the van.
She grabs one of her boxes and she looks at all of the rooms. Her parents already claimed their room so she had to go looking for one. She found s small cozy room that had pink carpet and the bluest walls she had ever seen. She fell in love and put down her boxes. She walked up to the wall and rubbed her hand over it. She thought to herself Is this weird? Nah
She finishes bringing all of her boxes upstairs and wiping the sweat from her forehead. Ew she thought as she looked at her sweat soaked hand. Now I have to unpack all of this she thinks with a sigh. She wishes she could talk, she wonders what she would sound like. She silently laughs as her mom comes in. "Clean this shit up. We have visitors coming soon. You don't want another slap do ya?" Fawns face goes blank and she shakes her head. She starts unpacking fast knowing how bad it hurts when her mom slaps her while she's drunk. Fawn wants to cry but she's gotten use to sucking It up. She's been doing it for 15 years so she can do it for another 3 before getting out of her parents house. God I hate them. I wish I could talk just so I could cuss them out.
Fawn struggles to put her mattress up and she finally does it. Phew that took forever. Her room was starting to look like something. Her bed duvet and everything furniture wise of hers matches the carpet and walls which makes her smile looking at the room. She still had a little bit more to out up but she just let them go (IF YOU LOVE ME LET ME GOOOO) for tomorrow.
The door bell rings about an hour later and she hears her mom open it. "Hi Sarah!" Says a voice. "Well hi there Angie! It's been a while. But here is my son Dan." Ooh she has a son! Fawn thinks as she giggles to herself. "Oh well let me get Fawn." Fawns heart stops and she doesn't want to go down and get weird looks for not having a voice. "Fawn! Come down here... Sweetie." Fawn thinks to herself. Wow she actually got nice enough to call me sweetie. How sweet. Fawn goes down the steps and forces a smile. She knows it going to be a long night.
After dinner, the adults went upstairs to play cards or something so it was just Fawn and Dan left. Fawn waved and Dan waved back. Dan had brown emo-ish hair and a smile to live for. His eyes were a chocolate brown and he had pale skin like Fawn. Wow he's more attractive than I thought.
