Sorry if I wrote Zayn's sisters names wrong.

Chapter 33:

Hazel POV:

I groaned as I heaved my suitcase up the stairs at ten pm up the stairs that led to the Malik's house. I had no idea that I was moving in with them that exact night and not the next morning but apparently non of my parents where going to sleep in the bed that they used to share or anywhere in the house that they once owned together.

So my Mum was going to her sister's house in Manchester and my Dad was going to travel to Ireland since he already had to leave in a weeks time, might as well be there earlier and get the divorce done and over with.

I didn't actually understand why I had to move in with them tonight but my Dad insisted that I do so and ignored my Mum's protests.

I pulled it up the last step and breathed out heavily, rubbing my eyes and turned around when I heard the door open. Waliyah smiled up at me as she helped me pull in my luggage inside the house and up the stairs and into the guest room that I would be occupying for the next month or so.

"When are you going to get the rest of your stuff?" she asked and sat down on the bed, while I zipped open the suitcase and looked at the mess inside.

"Uh, sometime during this week," I replied and rummaged through the mess of clothes and shoes that I had piled in to try and find my pajamas. "I have to pack everything in boxes and leave them somewhere."

She nodded and breathed out. "I can help, if you want."

"Sure. Thanks," I replied with a smile.

I pulled out my pajamas from the depths of the suitcase and threw it on my bed. I breathed out heavily and sadness suddenly overwhelmed all of the other feelings that I was feeling. I bit my lip and a lump formed in my throat.

Waliyha must have noticed my sudden change of mood and quietly left without saying a single word, which I was thankful for. She understood me in some ways, even though she never experienced her parents going through a divorce.

I changed into my pajamas and emptied my suitcase, neatly folding my clothes. Well, as neat as I could through my blurred vision due to the tears. I placed them back in the suitcase and looked at the time on the digital clock next to the bed on the bedside table.

It was already close to midnight and Patricia had come in the room around half an hour ago to bid goodnight and that tomorrow morning Waliyah, Safaa and I were the only ones that where going to be in the house due to her, Yaser and Doniyah going to the audition together with Zayn, Louis, Harry, Niall, Liam and their families.

I did ask if I could go with them but there wouldn't be enough space in the car and backstage, so I was stuck in the house waiting for the results.

I breathed out heavily and switched off the lights and got into bed, trying to sleep. But I couldn't. For the past few weeks, some nights, Zayn would sneak in from his window to my window and sleep in my bed for the night and since my parents left early for work, they never woke me up to tell me that they were leaving so we would end up sleeping till noon or something. I was so accustomed to him next to me, cuddling me.

Patricia had told me that Zayn knew what happened with my parents, just not the reason why. Probably none of them knew except for Yaser and my Dad made him swear on everything that he wouldn't tell anyone else, including Patricia. She also told me that he knew that I would be living here for the next month.

After multiple times of attempting to sleep, I gave up and got out of bed. Quietly, I opened the door and tiptoed down the hallway and towards Zayn's room. I pushed the handle downwards and it made a tiny creak, then pushed it a bit open so that I could slip inside.
