Ellie's POV
"Ellie! Hermione!" I heard from outside, and Hermione obviously did too as we sat up. We stood up and walked out of the tent, to see Harry with the sword.
"Everything all right?" Hermione asked.
"Fine. Actually...more than fine." Harry replied. As he stepped to the side I saw Ron at the edge of our camp. He made eye contact with me and smiled. "Hey!" he said, and I walked over to him.
I stood in front of him, then I started to hit him.
"You-complete-arse-Ronald-Weasley." I said, punching with each word. "You crawl back here after all this time and the first thing you say is 'hey'?"
I turned to Harry who actually looked kind of nervous.
"Where's my wand? Harry where's my wand?" I said.
"Um...I don't know." he said, his hand over his pocket.
"Harry Potter you give me my wand right now!" I said, walking towards him.
"How come he's got your wand?" Ron asked, and I turned to him and glared.
"Never mind why he's got my wand-" I started, but then I saw something black in his hand, the locket. "You destroyed it?" He nodded. "And how is it that you have the sword of Gryffindor?"
"It's a long story." Harry replied.
"Don't think this changes anything." I said, glaring at Ron.
"No of course not." he replied. "I only destroyed a bloody horcrux. Why would that change anything. Do you know what it was like for me to hear those words coming from you? To see you doing those things-" he stopped.
"What things?" I asked, confused. "what happened out there?"
"It's a long story." Harry replied.
"Look, I wanted to come back the minute I'd left. I just...didn't know how to find you." Ron said.
"So how did you find us exactly?" Hermione asked, and I noticed that she had her arm around me.
"With this." Ron replied, reaching into his pocket and taking out the deluminator from Dumbledore. "it doesn't just turn off the lights. I don't know exactly how it works, but christmas morning I was sleeping in this little pub. I'd given some snatchers the slip the night before, me being a blood traitor and all...anyway I was sleeping when I heard it..."
"It?" Harry asked.
"A voice." Ron replied, then he turned to me. "Your voice El. Coming out of this."
"And may I ask what it was I said?" I asked.
"My name. Just my name. Like a whisper." he replied, almost whispering himself and even though I didn't want to I started to blush. "So I took this and clicked it and a ball of light appeared. And I knew."
"Knew what?" Harry asked.
"Just knew. On account of Ellie's voice. And sure enough it floated towards me, the ball of light, right towards my chest. And then...went straight through...here." Ron said, pointing to a spot right next to his heart. "I could feel it inside me. It was warm, like the first sip of a good cup of tea. And I knew it would take me where I needed to go. So I disapparated and came out on this hillside. It was dark. I had no idea where I was. I just had to hope that one of you three would show yourselves in the end. And you did."

Ron's POV
That night Harry, Hermione and I were in the tent, and Ellie was outside on watch.
"I've always liked it. These flames that El and Hermione make." I said.
I looked out and saw Ellie just sitting there, waving her wand around and making beautiful colours. "How long do you reckon she'll stay mad at me?" I asked.
"Keep talking about the ball of light touching your heart." Hermione said.
"Yeah mate, she'll come around." Harry said.
"It's true. Every word. You're going to think I'm mental, but that's why I think Dumbledore left it to me - the deluminator." I said. "I think he knew that at some point I'd...I'd need to find my way back. And she'd lead me." Then I had a realisation. "Bloody hell I just realised. You need a wand right?"
"Yeah..." Harry replied. I reached into my bag. "Well I've got one. Here." I said, handing it to him. "It's a blackthorn. 10 inches. Nothing special, but I reckon it'll do. I took it off a snatcher a few weeks back." Then I whispered "Don't tell El but they're a bit dim, snatchers. This one was definitely part troll. The smell of him..."
Then Harry pointed his wand to the fire to light it up more, but it ended up becoming huge and making a mini explosion but, luckily, nothing caught on fire.
"What's going on in there?" I heard Ellie ask.
"Nothing." Harry replied, loudly before turning back to me.
"Maybe a bit more practice eh?" I whispered to him, and he smiled.

Ellie's POV
I walked inside to see Harry and Ron sitting next to the fire, taking whilst Hermione was reading a book on her bed. When I walked in Ron and Harry both looked at me.
"We need to talk." I said, looking at Harry.
"All right." I heard Ron say, and it was so hard having to ignore him.
"I want to go and see Luna's dad Xenophilius." I said.
"Sorry?" Harry said.
"See this?" I asked, holding up a piece of parchment. "it's a letter that Dumbledore wrote to Grindelwald. Look at the signature. It's the mark again. It keeps cropping up. Here, in Beedle the Bard, in the graveyard in Godric's Hollow..." I saw Harry staring intently at the book. "Harry..." I said, and his eyes shot up to look at me.
"It was there too..." he said.
"Where?" Hermione asked.
"Outside Gregorovitch's wand shop. On the alley wall..." Harry said.
"But what does it mean?" Ron asked.
"Harry, you don't have a clue where the next horcrux is. And neither do we. But, this means something. I'm sure of it." I said.
"Sorry Harry. Looks like Ellie's right this time." Ron said, standing next to me and I rolled my eyes.
